I'm 48 years old and I wanted to add some weight to my run, not a lot, just enough so that I could build upon my strength and stability. I run 3–5x per week, 3 miles each time. I have been using the 4lb. vest for six months and from the first wearing, it was clear that this was an effective addition to my running routine. I have noticed a considerable improvement in my speed, stamina, and posture when I run without it. The vest is extremely comfortable and the adjustable strap across the front is very easy to use. I really like the design of this vest. It looks cool. There's a sewn pad that sits behind the strap buckle that prevents digging and discomfort. I read some reviews that the "stuff" inside the vest was coming out. I made sure to check mine by shaking it and inspecting all of the seams. I've had no issues. I am not sure if this vest would be super comfortable for runners with larger bra sizes (I'm a 36B) but I will say that the way it wraps around the shoulders keeps everything where it should be and out of the way. It's definitely worth trying. Overall an excellent product, well-made, and worth every penny I paid for it.

I like the quality of the vest but the four lbs was a bit snug. I’ve got broad shoulders. I’ll keep using the best to hopefully lose some weight.

I bought the 4 lbs with goal of starting with a light weight, and then transitioning into a heavier weight after I build up some strength - I have a history of back injuries so I'm trying to go slowly but surely. Unfortunately this vest is NOT very adjustable in terms of size - you can work your way a bit with the sternum straps but for me it was still super tight that I could barely move. No doubt that this vest is NOT built for most men - they should either create different sizes of the the different vests (S/M/L) or include warning/notifications about the fit of the vest (Chest/Height/Shirt Size). They do include a table at the bottom with a recommended person's weight for the different vests - but IMO they should include a much clearer info related to the size of the chest or height of a person. I'm returning this product now, and considering between ordering a heavier vest from these guys - something that would fit my weight based on their table, or perhaps trying a different product from a different brand. Very disappointed.
