I bought my first VICSEED car phone mount 2 years ago in June 2020 after doing a bunch of comparative research between the popular Amazon models, paying attention to the photo reviews. In particular, I find that I really need these key things in a good phone mount: a "one-touch" release button, a clamp that holds my phone securely that can be adjusted to fit different sized phones (not a wedge or pocket), and a fully adjustable clamp that rotates the phone to any viewing angle I please. I dislike the suction cup/sticky mounts because I've gone through a couple of them since 2014 and they always eventually fall off (at the worst times while you're driving) or you can't reliably adjust the mount in the future. This VICSEED phone mount is my holy grail, especially with the updated air vent clamp that now comes with little teeth at the end that prevent the clamp from slipping off the vent tab. That would occasionally happen to me with the old model, which I found really frustrating and downright dangerous after driving on a bumpy road and the old model fell off and slipped under my brake pedal. I immediately emailed the customer help info (little card that came with the item, or you can google it) and got a response within 24 hours. Two very polite and friendly staff members confirmed my order and address info, and shipped me the new updated clamp. I have had ZERO problems with this VICSEED model and I love how it's the right balance of sturdy but adjustable. In the first photo I attached, you can see the difference in the old clamp (shown at the bottom) and the new clamp (the one on the top right that has teeth). Note that the new clamp for the air vent has a slightly longer reach, which accommodates most air vent tabs that aren't super long. I drive a Toyota RAV4 2019 and my mom drives a Toyota RAV4 2016 (where these photos are from), and the mount works perfectly with the air vents next to the touchscreen (not the one to the left of the steering while). Keep in mind that if your air vents have extra long tabs (like my own Toyota Sienna van), the new clamp will not work, since the teeth need to be able to lock securely /behind/ the tab. You'll want to opt for the no-teeth clamp version instead, which fits with any kind of air vent regardless of tab length. The new clamp with teeth prevents the car mount from /ever/ slipping off, because the teeth lock behind the tab in the air vent. If it comes off, it's because it was broken off. INSTALLATION can be a little tricky, but all the parts are solidly built. The ball-socket joint that allows you to rotate the mount is very smooth, but you will need to apply some force to get the ball into the socket. Do NOT jam it in. (1) I recommend first screwing the circular "washer" part lightly onto the car mount, so that it is still a little loose. (2) Look at the rotating piece around the clamp, it looks like a capital letter "I" as in the word India. Make sure that piece is a little loose--it controls whether the clamp is held closed. You will adjust and tighten it later after you've clamped down on your chosen air vent tab. (3) Both rotating pieces should be loosened for later adjustment. Firmly push the ball joint of the air vent clamp into the circular part, until it clicks into place. (Be patient, or have someone else try. I couldn't manage after 5 minutes and my mother got it right on the first go.) (3) Now you can take this thing out to your car. Select an air vent that you want to use and push the clamp around the air vent tab and in as far back as it will go--if you can squeeze the clamp shut with your fingers and not be able to pull it out when it's shut, then the "teeth" on the clamp have locked behind the air vent tab. (Picture a crocodile eating a long chunk of meat cleanly in one snap, with nothing poking out of its mouth.) Congrats, your air vent is compatible with this model and not too long. (4) Now you'll tighten the "I"-shaped rotating piece in front of the clamp so the clamp stays shut; you can remove your fingers to test if it feels securely shut. (Remember that "turning right is turning tight.") (5) Now rotate the ball-socket joint until the car mount is at a preferable viewing angle. You may find it helpful to actually put your phone in to see what it'll look like. When you're satisfied with the angle, tighten down the circular piece until it's snug. This is very secure and my phone never wobbles when I'm driving on bumpy roads, but you'll get the hang of adjusting it until it's the perfect angle and you'll never have to touch it again. (6) Final notes: you put your phone in by squeezing the two clamps on either side of your phone, and release the phone by pushing the button on the bottom left (if you're looking at your phone screen). The button is super easy to use and the set-up allows my family to use an iPhone 6s and the iPhone 12 Pro Max without issue. Ok, that was a highly detailed installation guide but now you'll never need another one, haha. Drive safe!

I used this for 3 months before reviewing it. I have no complaint with the product. It works as intended. Installation is easy. Today I removed it, though. There is only one vent in my car where mounting this is useful while driving. Unfortunately, that same vent is the primary one that supplies air conditioned air directly to my body. Also, while the vent I used to mount it was my only real choice, it was not that handy. It was always too close to my wiper stalk, and I had to use caution when adjusting my steering wheel's position. It's back to the drawing board for me.

The Vicseed Pink Phone Car Cent Mount is simply beautiful and extremely well made. From the packaging to the actual car vent mount it is evident that the company values high quality parts as well as function. While the color is aesthetically pleasing the mount fit my car vent snugly without any damage. There is padding on the clip and though it fit snugly, I was able to adjust and rotate the vent without issue. Both my iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 15 Plus fit the mount perfectly and I was able to access all buttons for volume and power. The mount is adjustable in width and length to accommodate different phone sizes. Additionally, the mount stayed secured while driving and there was no rattling or vibration even on rougher terrain. I have tried various Vicseed products and I must say that I have never been disappointed in either the build quality or functionality of their products. This new pretty in pink mount is no exception! Just buy it and you too will be a happy Vicseed customer.

This is a solid phone mount. Initially purchased one for our main car, and then two more for the rest. There are two places where they can be tightened/adjusted. Being able to tighten the clamp that holds them in place is what makes them so secure. When driving I have zero doubt that they are going to hold. And you can also adjust the swivel to tighten or loosen it based on your preference.

I love this well-made phone holder. The only issue I have had, and it is not the fault of the product, is connecting the arms securely. I have a ring holder attached to the back. I discovered if I tip the phone holder up, so the weight is more to the top of the holder, It doesn’t fall out and it stays secure. It did fall out until I determined how to distribute the weight properly. I live in the metro Atlanta area. Believe me we have tons of potholes. Even driving over bumpy surfaces, the phone so far has stayed in its position. I’m going to the countryside of Alabama soon with lots of dirt roads. I’ll update if necessary. I feel much safer driving.

Compared to a different product I had to replace (due to the grip falling off), this one seems to be okay. Problems I have with it is that the part that allows you to adjust it to face you want it to seems to not really lock in if you tighten it. It just relies mostly on the friction of when you put it together. The clamp seems to be decent. But, it not long enough for vents that have longer plastic pieces. For example, my center ones are twice as long compared to the one on the left side of the wheel. So, it has to completely rely on the tight grip to prevent it from falling. Which, if it does loosen will fling off while driving. I just have to make sure to tighten if it is continues to loosen periodically. Overall, it is okay.
