I absolutely love this stereo!! I wanted something with a large screen so I would not have to wear bifocals in order to drive and read my GPS. This totally fits the bill! I love Apple CarPlay and I'm just amazed that it works wirelessly. I have not used a lot of the other features except the sound adjustment. There are so many options, I will need to have a sound person help me, because I don't know what I'm doing in that department. I was a little unsure about buying a brand I had not heard of, but I contacted the company for some guidance and Watson replied quickly via email and answered all of my questions. He sent me videos to help with installation and settings, and also helped me order the right harness for my 2019 Subaru Forester. I took it to an installer and they at first were a little hesitant, but they had no trouble installing it. Once I found the settings for the steering wheel controls, I was able to program most of my buttons. Some of this is subjective and I try one way, then another, getting them the way I want them. Since they are programmable, you're not stuck with what the buttons did with the OEM head unit and you can actually program each button for two functions — a short press is one function and a long press can be a different function. As you can see from the pics, this stereo does cover the center vents a bit in my Forester. The air comes around the stereo, but there is a decrease in air flow. This doesn't bother me, but something to keep in mind since this screen is so large. I can't say enough about the customer service. He was so friendly and helpful and just went out of his way to be helpful. I have had a couple of times where ZLink would not launch. I turned off the car and turned it back on and it was fine. I think if my phone is within range of my wi-fi in my house when I turn the car on it gets confused, but it hasn't been a problem. You do need to have wi-fi turned on on your phone for ZLink to work wirelessly. It's not using an external wi-fi network, but I noticed once I was out and about and turned off wi-fi and I could not get Apple CarPlay to work. Anyway, buy this stereo. You'll love it, especially if you have an Apple Device. I can't comment on that "other" platform. LOL! Yea, what can I say, I'm an Apple snob. 🤓 Hope this was helpful.

I bought this unit for 2 reasons: I wanted a large display, and CarPlay. Exactly 2 weeks after installing it CarPlay stopped working. Amazon did their best to help me troubleshoot the issue, but in the end we were unable to fix it and Amazon couldn’t get in touch with the manufacturer to further troubleshoot it.

Can’t complain too much about this radio considering the price. Sounds good. Looks great. Responsive touch screen. Good amount of bugs in the system though. Expected at this price range though. Connected to WiFi or a hotspot, this thing can do anything an android tablet can do! Also wireless CarPlay is the bomb! Had it for a couple weeks now and there are still a couple kinks I’m trying to work out. Pros: -WIRELESS CARPLAY! (Didn’t know it had this option but I love it) -good price -Responsive touch screen -looks great! -sounds pretty good -easy set up with the right car connector Cons: -Randomly won’t connect to phone (iPhone 12) -randomly disconnects from Bluetooth -switching between CarPlay and using hotspot is very difficult Hope this helps.

Great head unit for a car. Works great wish it came with a camera though. I had to purchase that separately. But question to the seller, what is the factory setting password for the head unit because is wasn’t 1234, 8888, or 0000?

Viabecs products and services are more than amazing. I did have a problem with the first unit, but viabecs was so responsive to my replacement, that I almost forgot that I had any issues at all. This company was very attentive to my questions via email and had excellent communication with me almost everyday until the replacement unit was installed. I would definitely order from them again

THE SCREEN DOES COME OFF. I had almost cut into my trim piece before realizing I didn’t have to. There are spring-loaded sides on the back of the screen that you pull outward.
