I've had this sander for a while now and I have put it through some work at this point. This is a big upgrade from your average palm sander. If you spend the money on a Festool version, I'm sure it's well worth it. Those tools have a cult following for a reason. That said, I spent a fraction of that cost on this product and the performance has been a game changer to say the least. Way faster material removal, far less hand fatigue, and the dust collection is amazing. 10 out of 10 would buy again. If you are on the fence and hesitant to pull the trigger, just do it. You won't regret it.

Definitely happy with my purchase so far. Light weight but doesn't feel cheap. I've started to reach for this instead of my 5in Dewalt sander when I don't want to use my big 6in Bosch. The dust collection is okay, but even when I'm using 3m 710W and 310W disks connected to a Hercules dust extractor, the sander still gets coated in dust (Very similar to my Dewalt DWE6421), where I do not have this issue with my other 6in sander. The sanding pad does not seem to be a full 6in. There is noticeably more "paper" hanging over the edge than my other 6in, cause my sanding disks to tear much more frequently.

I was hesitant to purchase this sander until I saw a review from an influencer on YouTube. This is a great sander, especially for the money. I have not used a Festool sander, but I can't imagine it being much better if any. I use this sander three to five days a week, sometimes most of the day, and it has held steady. I mainly use the screen sandpaper, and I have minimal dust when hooked to the normal shop vacuum.

I was hesitant after reading a few of the reviews but decided to go ahead with the purchase. I’ve owned dewalt and Mikita sanders for DIY jobs around the house and was looking a for new brushless sander for sanding my boat hull’s gelcoat. Wow this sander is 100x better than any powered sander I’ve used in the past! It’s lite weight, low vibration and powerful enough to remove large scratches from gelcoat. Of course Sanding is still a chore of a job but I’m happy with the the purchase. Hope that helps anyone who’s on the fence.
