I have owned a ooni Koda for the last 3 years and it is an excellent oven. I bought this because it looked so close to my Koda. It does not disappoint. If you are a beginner there will be a little learning curve as with any pizza oven. It takes some practice but this oven works well. Tip, get the stone hot before you put the pizza in. Easy to put together. I have made pizza with wood chips and gas. both work well but you need to keep adding chips. I will try pellets next time.

Disliked the temp not getting high enough. Also very tough to turn a 12 inch pizza don’t even try. I would use a very thin crust which people don’t remember to do in wood fired ovens. Stone does not get hot enough. Really would buy a more expensive oven with thicker steel or made of brick. It will cook a pizza takes about 25 mins to get oven around 475 degrees so not ideal pizza temp for wood fire. I plan on buying a insulation blanket in hopes I can get it up to 800 degrees. We have used our outdoor pizza oven 2 times this weekend and absolute love it!! It is well built and easy to use. It takes a little practice to know how much and when to rotate the stone but that does not take too long! We have also found that adjusting how many “refill” scoops of wood pellets to put in at one time will determine the wood smoked flavor and intensity and the cook time and temperature.     • Oven defective, company will not honor warranty

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. I received this oven for Xmas and didn't use it until the following spring when the weather warmed up. When I tried using it, I found that the gas valve was defective. Because it was past the Amazon return date, I wrote to the Vevor website. I was told that there is a special customer service devoted to Amazon orders. When the Amazon customer service reponded, I sent them pictures and video of the problem. They responded right away that they will send me a new oven and asked for my address. Over six months later, and they still have not replaced the oven. They keep telling me that it is out of stock, which is completely not true. I have ordered the oven on both the Vevor and Amazon websites and have had them delivered and then sent them back to prove to the customer service person that it is in fact in stock. Yet they respond have the nerve to still tell me it's out of stock. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. ... show more

The door on the front will not stay on. The handle is too heavy, and it just falls off. I took the handle off, to keep it in place. I have used it 3 times with pellets, and charcoal. It does not get hot enough to heat the stone. Top of the pizza cooks and the crust is completely raw. I contacted customer support multiple times and the only thing that can tell me is to take a video to get help! Building a fire inside and taking a video of it burning does not fix anything! They can offer zero suggestions without a video apparently. I should not have broken my own rule and try to go cheap. You get what you pay for. Spend the money and get a reliable oven. This was not worth the work necessary to keep it lit. The effort needed to keep the flame going was exhausting and it never reached a temperature that would actually cook the pizza!
