Size is good for the four chickens I have but I am not really pleased with the sturdiness. The door is sturdy but the frame seems very cheaply made. Very disappointing for sure. I don’t like how you can’t open the whole door at once you have to open each separately.

Long story short… We rescued some chickens from someone who couldn’t properly care for them during the winter months. We needed to put together a coop and run super quickly, and have it weatherproof for winter. I’m building other runs right now, but they wouldn’t be done soon enough, so I bought this as a temporary solution. Not gonna lie… it’s junk. Super wobbly, very light duty, and very weak. I threw away the chicken wire that comes with it, and wrapped the entire thing with hardware cloth, wrapped it with tarps, reinforced the center with two by fours, and ratchet strapped it down. If it makes it through winter, I’ll be impressed. I plan on just throwing it away as soon as I cat. Please don’t trust a run constructed like this to protect your chickens. They deserve better than this.

You definitely need two people to put the wire on. But it constructed together very easily. Very sturdy. We added the wood on the bottom to help anchor it down. We get very high winds.
