I needed it after the second time I had to rescue my kid with a flat that he couldn't change because he didn't have the right tools or jack in the car. Good jack but the lift point is very small and no edges to stop slip. They should have put a standard nut on the screw end so a socket wrench could be used to activate the lift.

The jack is excellent. The thing I wish the jack had is a socket-wrench head. However, The ratchet wrench fits the loop head and works fine. I am lazy and I'll buy a "RED DOG SOCKET" THAT WILL ALLOW ME TO ATTACH IT TO A PORTABLE DRILL AND MOTOR THE SCISSOR JACK UP AND DOWN.

I purchased a car that doesn't have a jack and this fit the bill perfectly. I use it on two cars. A sedan is relatively low and it fits under adequately. And, a compact SUV and it lifts the tire completely off the ground.

first off let me say, i have never written an amazon review or been disappointed by a product i have purchased here based on reviews. However, this product is complete garbage. First time using it, the wrench handle completely bent in half while the car was jacked 1" off the ground. Then i started using another wrench to try and lower the car and then the jack seemed to have cold welded itself and i could no longer turn the thing up or down. had to call triple A to come jack my car up so i could remove this piece of garbage. save yourself time, money, and desire to jump off a bridge, by not buying this product. ... show more
