The instructions are ridiculous. I had to straighten out the corners, someone walked on it and it is bent. The "wood" perch is laminated press board. This sounded great for solving the problem I have of my chickens eating their own eggs. But I can figure out how to put it together so both my husband and my son tried, and they are both very very handy, but the directions were terrible and it didn’t look like it could even be put together without modifying it by drilling holes etc. Plus the metal is so sharp that you can get cut easily so be careful if you do decide to try to put this thing together. The seller really needs a video to show someone putting it together so you can follow, if in fact it’s even possible but like I said I think you have to drill holes to make it work according to my husband. ... show more

Throw the directions away, look at the picture on line. Make a few modifications so that eggs are diverted into the catch. Oh you need tiny fingers too.... probably designed on some CAD program and never tested...

There were no instructions to put this together, you have to figure out how to put the pieces together and which pieces go together. If I had known instructions weren't incluent I wouldn't have purchased this. It was a complete waste of time.

Overall I like this but the directions are horrible. We had to take it partially apart a couple times. Not IKEA directions, that’s for sure. Also, although they do send tools, get your drill. Makes it much easier

The instructions on Amazon and that came with the nesting boxes are useless. The pieces aren't labeled what they are. Also it shipped without the bottom roost brackets so I'm waiting to be contacted to tell them that so they can ship those.. It seems like it'll do the job after you get it all together. ... show more

Terrible. I’m a pro at putting together difficult items but this is ridiculous. The holes do not line up and there are various sized screws without any written directions.

A piece of junk. No instructions and pieces that do not even line up. If I hadn’t waited so long to put it together, I would be returning it. It’s thin metal that I don’t expect to last very long. Once I finally got it together the legs are already bending. Hope it doesn’t fall Over when the hen try’s to lay in it Zero is my rating ... show more
