This thing works wonders. Used it to lift my shed onto a new foundation. Everything else sank in the mud but this had a wide enough base that it really worked. It lifted at least 8000 pounds. You’ll need a compressor that can do up to 80 PSI for max lift. It took around 80 to lift the shed. Love this thing, however it is heavy and not portable by any stretch of the imagination. The swivel arm is 2 pieces bracketed together instead of a simple bar, making it flimsy feeling. All in all, it’s a good purchase for special use. But I prefer my harbor freight low profile pump hydraulic jack for actual car use

I have one of vevor 3 ton without the long handle and it's great. This 5 ton handle is cheap made and has sharp edges.

Makes working on car easier

To use a standard hydraulic jack, you have to be standing and put a lot of your weight on the handle to lift just one corner of a pickup truck. I was sitting down working on the suspension, replacing a shock, and all I had to do was reach over and open the valve to get this jack to lift it higher. SOOO much easier! Another advantage is that when you roll a hydraulic jack way under the car, you don't have much room to pump the handle. With these air jacks there is almost no movement of anything on the jack at all to get it to lift. It maneuvers into place just as easily as a hydraulic jack, too. The only thing I did to mine was to take the top off the air bag to access the telescoping tubes inside. I removed them and carefully de-burred them, then lubed them. This made it retract quicker. Before I did this, it retracted kinda jerky and slowly. Just a by-product of low quality control and mass production. Overall, this is an excellent jack!

I would never trust a jack while I go underneath the vehicle. Especially a pneumatic one. It could fall as fast as gravity. That said, the results are impressive. Very quick lift of a 7,700 lbs. truck and it weighs less than my other jacks that can't lift it. Easy up and down controls that easily do slow up and down too. My only issue is, the air hose can kink easily and then the jack stops working until you notice.
