This thing actually sounds really good. I tweaked all the settings and adjusted where the placement was and I ended up with a really loud well balanced system on the cheap. I went with the cheapest new MB Quart formula 6x8s in all my doors. I am using a Pioneer AVH 120bt with just the internal amp pushing all the door speakers and I got it sounding really good. But this really helped round out the sound. The included wiring kit is nice addition too, don’t get me wrong the power and ground are a bit tiny but are more than enough for the little power this uses. It states 400 watt max but I’m sure it’s closer to 50 continuous and 100 max. The wire is thin but appears to be real copper which is a plus and is better than a thicker cca, which is what usually is given at this price point. The connectors are way to big for the wire though, luckily my install didn’t necessitate the use of them I just went straight copper looped for the ground and the amp has screw in connectors as do my aftermarket battery terminals. All in all I would recommend this whole heartedly, and I’ve had some massive systems pushing 2000-3000watts running Infinity reference inside speakers and dual 12 JBL subs at 1200 watts a piece, so I know loud and clear. This is not that system but it performs admirabley. I will purchase again might just throw 2 of these in my van as well.

Listen, if you just want some bass. Like factory premium car bass. This is what you want. It is better than some cars with factory subs I have had. It fills out the sound but it won’t be heard a block away. Small enough to put anywhere. Easy to install, even with factory radio(has the rca and amp turn on converter). Well worth it.

As far as these underseat subs go , it doesn't awful. Some of these under seat subs can be sketchy , especially at this price point. I'd suggest using 2 of these as they do lose their composure rather quickly but even if you buy 2 it still works out less than one from an established speaker co. Running 2 at lower gain is always better anyway And very much improves sound quality when they're less strained. This should hopefully also help longevity and stop them from running too hot. I expected worse for the price. This isn't for Civic owners who want the guy next to them to receive an organ massage from the bass but picks up nicely where set of speakers leaves off and also takes some of the low end duty away from the speakers so they don't work so hard which = better sound quality. Trim your speakers at around 80hz, set the cutoff of this sub to 80hz and it'll sound decent enough. I wouldn't really go much higher than 80hz this sub doesn't sound decent when you're tying to get 100-150hz out of it, your speakers will do that better. That 60amp fuse is a little ambitious for that wiring they include, id have included a lower value fuse if it were me so that it blows quicker in case of a short considering how thin the wiring is.

I recently started to upgrade my car stereo in my 2003 Infiniti I35: There are many subwoofers on Amazon. Here is why I chose to buy the Vevor: 1. I have other Vevor products (pond filter) and I know they have quality products at low prices. 2. Under the seat placement so as not occupy any usable space. 3. No flashing lights, please! Most other models have flashing lights. I have enough flashing lights already in my car. 4. There are 8" & 10" options with different power combinations. I chose the larger 10" but with lower 120 RMS Watts. The Vevor Subwoofer fits perfectly under my seat. The installation was quite easy. I did not have to use the High to Low converter because my new head unit has a separate subwoofer RCA connection. I did have to buy a RCA Y adapter since the Vevor’s RCA cable has 2 plugs. The Subwoofer extends the low end sound nicely to round out the music. It sounds way better than without the subwoofer. If you want an economical Subwoofer to upgrade your car stereo without robbing any usable space, this is it. If you are looking for a subwoofer to wake up your neighbors, then look elsewhere.

If you're looking for something cheap or nothing at all, this will do nicely. This is one of those "I wasn't gonna get a subwoofer for my wife's car, but it was so cheap, why not?!" type of purchases. I already have a nice sound system in my truck and I'd spend more if I were already planning a sound system upgrade but this was so cheap on Prime day and came with a free wiring kit, it had to be bought! I like this sub, but I don't love it. Sound wise it's not super tight, clean or loud, but it ain't bad either and it definitely fills out the lower end that was missing. I'll keep dialing in the gain and bass boost and break it in and it will probably get better. It's got all the required specs and has decent wiring equipment and the remote volume control is nice. It would probably work better if you have a subwoofer control on your head unit and then can bypass the volume control. If you are already looking for a powered sub and want something good and not too concerned about money I'd step up to a Rockville or a premium brand.

The casing is pretty solid and rigid. It does come with and amp kits for power ground and remote. Also speaker level line inputs. I put in the back of my suv for a little more thump. I did have a Kenwood excel head unit and amp already installed from previous sub. I was able to get one while it was $50. So far it has been pretty good at doing what it needs to. The amp fuse is a little flimsy though. I would buy again for another vehicle. Does what it needs to for better sounds quality.
