The product itself is awesome especially with the ease of hook up etc. My package was missing the main red power cable and the ends that were supposed to be included. Also was missing the rca cable and the fuse inside the enclosure. I thought that the amp was shot or something because I bought everything myself but forgot that enclosure and fuse so once I found one and installed it I finally got it working. Cost me over 30 extra dollars which is lame but I’m not gonna give the product a low rating because it’s working great. It’s amazons fault for sending me something that had been opened and clearly used but selling it to me still as a brand new one. Should have been cheaper like all used stuff on Amazon is or at least try to help me with the extra parts. Old Amazon would have but not the new version of how they operate. They keep getting worse but they don’t need to care I guess. What am I supposed to do. I reported it and they didn’t care really so. Thanks Amazon for your service haha

Shockingly good for the price. Everything thing for installation is included and the thing thumps! The volume knob is a great touch because with some music the bass becomes droning and overbearing. Disclaimer: I installed it in a kei truck, so very little interior volume. If you're putting a sub in the back of a suburban, you might need two or a larger model.

As far as these underseat subs go , it doesn't awful. Some of these under seat subs can be sketchy , especially at this price point. I'd suggest using 2 of these as they do lose their composure rather quickly but even if you buy 2 it still works out less than one from an established speaker co. Running 2 at lower gain is always better anyway And very much improves sound quality when they're less strained. This should hopefully also help longevity and stop them from running too hot. I expected worse for the price. This isn't for Civic owners who want the guy next to them to receive an organ massage from the bass but picks up nicely where set of speakers leaves off and also takes some of the low end duty away from the speakers so they don't work so hard which = better sound quality. Trim your speakers at around 80hz, set the cutoff of this sub to 80hz and it'll sound decent enough. I wouldn't really go much higher than 80hz this sub doesn't sound decent when you're tying to get 100-150hz out of it, your speakers will do that better. That 60amp fuse is a little ambitious for that wiring they include, id have included a lower value fuse if it were me so that it blows quicker in case of a short considering how thin the wiring is.

This thing actually sounds really good. I tweaked all the settings and adjusted where the placement was and I ended up with a really loud well balanced system on the cheap. I went with the cheapest new MB Quart formula 6x8s in all my doors. I am using a Pioneer AVH 120bt with just the internal amp pushing all the door speakers and I got it sounding really good. But this really helped round out the sound. The included wiring kit is nice addition too, don’t get me wrong the power and ground are a bit tiny but are more than enough for the little power this uses. It states 400 watt max but I’m sure it’s closer to 50 continuous and 100 max. The wire is thin but appears to be real copper which is a plus and is better than a thicker cca, which is what usually is given at this price point. The connectors are way to big for the wire though, luckily my install didn’t necessitate the use of them I just went straight copper looped for the ground and the amp has screw in connectors as do my aftermarket battery terminals. All in all I would recommend this whole heartedly, and I’ve had some massive systems pushing 2000-3000watts running Infinity reference inside speakers and dual 12 JBL subs at 1200 watts a piece, so I know loud and clear. This is not that system but it performs admirabley. I will purchase again might just throw 2 of these in my van as well.

I installed this today under my 2003 Corolla drivers seat (my POS auction commuter) and I did it the dirtbag way of just tapping into the speaker wires, I’m still running the factory head unit just with upgraded speakers (Kenwood concert series). This thing sounds and hits way harder than it has any business doing for $50. It’s not going to make your trunk rattle but it 100% fills the bass void when using a factory HU. HIGHLY recommended.

Incredibly inexpensive and for the money I am happy with it. This is probably an issue with my factory headunit paired with the low pass filter but the bass is muddy with notes other than the lows.
