This is a great, and nice looking pergola. When assembled, it's fairly sturdy and should last a long time. Assembly isn't difficult, but it is time consuming. You will need at least two people, and a ladder/step stool with at least two steps. While the hex keys for putting all the hardware in are included, you are going to want to use a drill/driver with the appropriate bits- Otherwise you'll still be installing the screws until summer comes and goes. The parts are packed well, and labeled. Make SURE you check the insides of the legs for parts- There are a number of them packed in there, and some of them get stuck. It would not be a good day if you got the whole thing assembled and found out that the parts were hidden. For my wife and I, Assembly time was about 1 1/2 hours. Not bad at all. Construction is all aluminum, so it won't rust. Canopy is made of a nice, thick material which blocks all the sunlight. There are drainage holes in it, and in addition is goes under a cover at one end to keep water out. The only thing I didn't like about it is the instructions- They are not very clear. You'll be able to figure it out eventually, but it can be a bit frustrating at the time. Keep in mind that there is a front and a back, so make sure you assemble it facing the correct direction. Overall, a great product at a great price point. Looks INCREDIBLE on our deck, and we're really going to enjoy it this summer.

Stay away, junk!!! Was delivered damaged, too much of a hassle to return, extremely cheaply made, Florida winds have had fun with it. We've bought other Vevor items, they weren't very good either.

This pergola is quite nice. Setup wasn't too hard, just a bit time consuming. All the pieces were there and fit together as they should. With the awning retracted, this holds up to some decent wind. The package it came in was quite heavy and hard to move around without 2 people so be careful if you get this. This is quite large for the price you pay and I think it is a pretty good value if you're in the market for a pergola this summer.

This came with a few dents and scuffs but did manage to get it together which is not too bad but will take a few hours. Yes it is made light but we will be adding some sandbag ties to the bottoms inside some planters. With the top open and ties back there wont be a lot of surface for the wind to catch to blow it away. But it is nice to have over our patio

It was delivered via UPS and I don’t know how one person was able to get it out of their truck. Two people could have lifted this but I was grateful we had 3, so just be ready when it gets delivered. They suggest a minimum of 2 people to put it together, but I found having that 3rd person was extremely beneficial. I really like how the fabric for the roof could be moved out of the way to see the stars at night and yet to cover up when it is hot out. I think this will be very beneficial this summer here in the southern Arizona area.
