  • Impressive Performance – Whisper Quiet and Easy to Install!
The media could not be loaded. I couldn’t be more pleased with the Harrier Hardware Very Quiet Bathroom Exhaust Vent. From start to finish, this product exceeded expectations. Installation was refreshingly simple—even for someone without professional electrical or HVAC experience. The instructions were clear, the parts well-packaged, and everything fit together as it should. With just a few basic tools and a bit of patience, I had the unit installed and running in no time. What really stands out, though, is how quiet this vent is. As soon as I flipped the switch, I had to double-check that it was even running—it’s that quiet! Unlike older or cheaper bathroom fans that can sound like a lawnmower in a closet, this one is barely noticeable, even in a small space. You get effective ventilation without the background noise, which makes a big difference in day-to-day comfort. Despite its whisper-quiet operation, the performance hasn’t been sacrificed. It does a great job pulling moisture and steam out of the bathroom quickly, helping prevent mildew and mirror fog. It’s clear that this vent was designed with both efficiency and user experience in mind. If you’re looking for a bathroom exhaust fan that delivers reliable performance and operates nearly silently, I highly recommend this one. It’s a great value for the price, and I’d absolutely buy it again. ... show more

  • Quiet, easy to install.
We installed this fan during a remodel of laundry/bathroom. I'm an absolute beginner at wiring and wired this up in parallel with the lights, operating on 2 different switches. When we turned on the power, nothing. A test showed that the fan was getting power, but it wasn't working. We feared that we got a faulty fan, but a check inside the switch box showed that the neutral (white wire) had come apart when the tangle of wires had been pushed in. After the wire was reattached and the mess shoved back into the box, the fan works. Nice and quiet, unlike the old 20+ year old one that it was replacing. ... show more

  • Decent unit, good price, not easy to swap out the motor in the future though
This looks like an upgraded version of our previous Hampton Bay exhaust fan. I was hoping to be able to just swap the motor and not the housing. However this unit has the motor mounted opposite of our older one, so I ended up swapping out the whole unit. It's relatively quiet, price is right. Just note that in the future if the motor needs servicing or replacing it looks like the whole unit must be swapped. You can't just swap the motor with one screw like on other budget brands, Broan for example. If I would have know I possible would have purchased a different brand, that lack of research is on me. This does the job and didn't break the bank. ... show more

  • Perfect fan for a small to medium sized bathroom.
This fan works very well, isn't too loud and was easy to install.

  • Easy to install
This is a no-nonsense budget fan that works well. Not as quiet as the $150 models but satisfactory for a $34 unit. This fan is the same size as the one originally installed in the bathroom. Was able to install it from within the bathroom - did not have to go into the attic (that was a blessing). The installation was relatively easy because I took my time and visualized the process. The most difficult part was removing the existing unit. The only tweak I made was to drill to small hoses in the base of the unit so I could screw it to the joist. ... show more

  • Inexpensive and relatively quiet!
Purchased this because it had the exact same dimensions as the one I'd be replacing, but is twice as quiet. Had the same fan in guest/kid's bathroom for 20 years and was looking to upgrade to something that was quieter than what we already had. This unit measured almost exactly the same as what I'd be replacing, but was much more quiet than the existing by at least 50%. Installation had to be done from above in attic due to accessibility of wiring and screwing into side of ceiling joist. Other than getting into the attic, install was pretty easy and was even able to close gaps around the unit with expanding foam. Would recommend and buy again. ... show more

  • Performs Well, as Advertised
Nice, small-bath exhaust fan. Runs reasonably quietly (2 sones vs 4 on the original). In-room installation was relatively easy for this first-time DIY-er. Attaching housing to ceiling joist was bit of a challenge, but I got it done. My age (77 years) might have been a limiting factor for me. I would recommend this to anyone with modest "handyman" skills and tools; other wise hire an installer. I'm satisfied with this product. ... show more

  • Not very quiet
It was supposed to be very quiet, but the fan was exactly as loud as the house's existing fan. So I returned it.
