I needed a Pure Sine Wave inverter for my RV and this VertaMax was exactly what I was looking for. I immediately threw it on my 1980 circa Oscope and the waveform was incredible. It's large, but that's to be expected in the 1500 Watt range. It has all of the bells and whistles needed and provides all the inverted power my 27' Class A motor home needs. I only have one small issue, that may not be a problem for you - When using the Remote switch it deactivates the main power on/off button on the face of the inverter. For me, having the remote switch inside the coach, means I have to go inside to power the device on or off, whereas I'd like to be able to turn it on or off from the storage compartment where I keep it near the batteries. Not the end of the world as I can simple unplug the Remote cable at the device - but need to remember to plug it back in or I'll loose remote control from inside the RV. Still a great inverter for the money!

Inverter is working good.Voltage and wattage readings seem to be accurate using other measuring devices for comparison.20 amp draw,coolng fan came on once after a long period.Power is clean,pellet stove sounds the same as grid power(old inverter noise level of stove was louder).

I've had this thing for about 5 years, of that it has about ten total hours of on time. My wife was saying that she was trying to use our instant pot on it which wasn't a problem in the past but it shut off and started beeping. Curious I took the system apart brought it home and put a kill-a-watt meter on it. I put a heat gun on to load test it. 1350 watts. After about 5 minutes it shut off and beeps 4 times. The screen indicates low battery voltage @ 10.00VDC. But my Fluke meter shows 13.2VDC at the battery terminals. I left it to cool down for a day thinking maybe it was just hot. Next day same results. Good thing I wasn't relying on this thing for my only source of power and have a generator on hand. Definitely would NOT recommend buying this unit!!!

I bought this inverter to install in my small Winnebago bunkhouse camper. Although I typically camp at sites with electrical hookups, I had a trip planned to Ocracoke Island, where the campsites don't have electricity. I needed to run my CPAP, lights, and a few other 110V devices. During the day, I kept the camper's battery topped up with solar panels. I decided not to hard wire the inverter into my camper's existing 110V electrical system, but instead I installed a dedicated, switched outlet. This inverter worked well for its intended purpose. It runs cool and quiet, comes with a nice remote switch, and provides all the power we needed in our little camper. It also appears to be very well built. I recommend this inverter. It's priced aggressively and works well!

I use this little inverter to power my big screen tv cable box and modem, in use most of the day It works perfectly 5 years later. I had a loose battery connection that caused the plastic ring on the terminal to melt. Still worked! Took it apart and replaced the terminal stud Can’t beat this for a small inexpensive pure sine inverter =========================================== Can't speak to its durability to run a load over a long period of time.. It passed my limited test at load. Peak Surge Power of 1000 watts is a joke, but aren't they all in this price range? I like that the fan starts and runs a few seconds when the inverters is switched ON.. Lets you know it's functional. Would only use this little inverter for emergencies, and for that purpose it should be fine... If I were relying on this every day to supply power, I'd buy a much higher quality unit.. You know who those are. Test: I used a Kill a Watt meter to load up this 500W inverter.. A 1/6 hp sump pump, blender and a 20" box fan.. Powered by a 12V35 ah SLA battery. The steady state load was 450 watts.. And it ran fine for 15 minutes... The blender struggled to reach full speed with the other loads already running..

Installed this Inverter on a steel cart with two 100 amp AGM batteries. There is a quick disconnect from the Solar Panels located on the roof so the cart with wheels can be moved around as needed. I tested this inverter with loads up to 1500 Watts and it handled the load as it should. This Windy Nation 1500 Watt Pure Sine Inverter is a solid inverter that functions as advertised. Great for backup power in my garage.

Nice,works great with my solar system. Simple to hook up.I ordered mine with the cables,it was extra $$,but well worth it.cables are sturdy 0 gauge,saved me from looking around to try and find the correct size .It has enough power to run my 1500 watt vacuum cleaner,and then some.I checked a lot of power inverters out and read reviews,and for the price I could afford,I'm happy with my purchase.
