I do believe in reading instructions when available. That being said, this IS made in China, but despite that, it has CLEAR instructions, printed in perfect English, in addition to a QR code, to video instructions as well. You must follow them carefully, but in my case, this took less than 30 minutes, INCLUDING the setup and let me tell you, this thing is amazing! You can lock/unlock, with hard key (includes-2), RFID card (includes-2), app, voice, pin-pad or fingerprint. If you lock yourself out, with this, you deserve to spend the night in the driveway. It also gives you a voice-confirmation, when successfully locked/unlocked. Does require 8-AA batteries (not included). ... show more

I would give this SIX stars if it was possible. If only for the EXCELLENT tech support I got. On my first installation, everything worked except for WiFi which would not connect to my network. After trying everything they sent me a new lock, which now works with WiFi! I don’t expect everything to be perfect, but Tech Support is essential, and without it the best system is useless. I had never heard of the “Veise” brand, but I decided to take a chance. And am I happy I did!!! The installation was super easy thanks to a very clear and well designed set of manuals: an Installation manual which gets you to the point of securing the door. Followed by a User manual for setting up the various WiFi and Blue Tooth features. (You can easily operate the lock without WiFi, only Blue Tooth). Also activating Fingerprint identification, FOB and Code setup. Solid construction and smooth operation is what I can add with elegant styling. The only minor remark I have, is the manual latch in low light (on the Black model) is difficult to determine if it’s in the open or closed position. Not to worry, the lock can be programmed to close automatically up to 99 seconds after it’s opened. Highly Recommended! ... show more

I’ve been raving about this doorbell to my friends encouraging to buy. It’s worked great so far. 5/5 stars with disclaimers: I had to call customer service during installation to set up lock rotation direction. Easy solution, 1 min wait time, and excellent customer service! also, i had to add 2 finger prints (same finger) because i have a condition where my hands swell often due to allergy reactions. I can appreciate the finger prints accuracy, and have had no issues since adding the second print. Highly recommend. 5 minute installation, all methods to enter are working great! and for the price? can’t beat it. ... show more

I was honestly shocked at how thin and light the plastic was but that's on the inside of the housing of the door lock and compartment for the batteries. Overall I really like it it's very easy to use simple to set up. However, my batteries, eight of them only lasted 4 months. At this rate it can get pretty expensive getting the good lithium batteries not to mention the waste. ... show more

Wonderful product overall! Very easy to install and has instruction videos for setup/use. Good value for the money! I love that it sends me messages every time the door is locked/unlocked and who it was. That gives a stronger sense of security. Overall flawless design and setup.

Just set up my new lock. Due to my router being in the back of my house, I’m not able to use the WiFi. I’m going to have to work on that. In the meantime, I was able to put in all the codes for my family without any problems. My grandkids are young, so I setup the fingerprint for them and it has worked perfectly so far. I’ve only had it set up for a day so we’ll see how it keeps working. I also bought one for my daughter and son in law’s house. ... show more
