Honestly wasn't sure to expect from a $50 Smart Lock, but this thing blew me away with its features. This replaced my schlage Smart Lock that I originally had on my door that cost me a little bit over $300 so I could Wi-Fi enable the lock. This lock has a direct integration from their app to manage on your Wi-Fi and setup took all of 5 minutes. The app is basic but very user friendly and supports adding additional users that you can manage. A couple other features that really sold me once I unboxed it were standardized keys.. if you really want to have a physical copy of the key, it's not some crazy proprietary key that you can't make a copy of. You can take it right to your normal hardware store. The fingerprint reader works incredibly well and the raised buttons and color notifications for being locked and unlocked really gives you peace of mind letting you know the door has locked. The negatives I would point out are are if you want full performance and battery life. It takes eight AA batteries. However, with those eight AA batteries, you get an extended battery life and the lock functions very quickly. The only other negative I see is that a lot of the hardware is plastic so I may update this review on the longevity of the lock in future months.

This is the second deadbolt style lock I got made by Veise. The first one didn't have the wifi option but all the other features and it was a easy install and works great so when I seen the one with wifi at a better price than the first unit I thought the wifi function would be very nice to be able to lock and unlock from my phone. Then after installing this one which was as easy as the first one and even easy to program because you can do it on your phone which was even easier. After 6 to 8 weeks of use I all of a sudden lost connection through my phone and wasn't able to get it reconnected on my own. I called customer service which answered the phone and very pleasant to talk to and easy to understand I spoke with Isabella who immediately text me a couple things to try and the instructions so I could use it manually at least and told me she would look into the problem and get back to me. First thing the next morning she text me a solution to try and it worked. She is a very pleasant and a wonderful customer service person.

We had an older version of this and the screws came loose. Not good for something that’s supposed to keep your door locked. I looked around to other similar deadbolts but was familiar with this and decided to keep with the look. It wasn’t about cost, it wasn’t about name brand. It was mostly due to knowing the product as this was on the door when I bought the home and I don’t need anything above and beyond fancy. Installation is extremely easy. The deadbolt, like most, comes airy a twisting feature should your door need an extended bolt. As I had a previous version of this, everything came out easy and went in easy. Had I switched brands maybe it wouldn’t have been as easy, however the install is simple. Put the mechanisms in, feed the wire, mount the outside, mount the inside. My favorite part about this is the codes and WiFi compatibility. I can now assign codes to whoever I want. Not necessary for a home, but great for a rental property or secure area. I can also lock and unlock via the app. While I’m not ignorant to the fact that this may pose a security issue (as can anything these days), now I can check and see if the door was locked without having to return home. If it isn’t locked, I can do so remotely. At least I think I can. I haven’t tried off my WiFi honestly. Fingerprint sensor works well. Not something I planned to use frequently or rely on, but it’s there. Same with keys. Should the battery die or something happen, the old fashioned way is still an option. It also has an auto lock feature. I don’t really like to use it as we like to prop the door open sometimes and my young kids like to slam doors shut. So maybe when they’re older. We also don’t like somewhere where I feel the need to keep my doors locked 24/7. For the price point, I can’t complain. If anything changes, this review will be the second to know. Otherwise, I’m content with this and pleased with the purchase.

This is a really fantastic lock. Between the WiFi, Bluetooth, Fingerprint reader, the Keypad and last but not least the fact that you can use a key, this lock does it all. The app is also very well designed. I can see who entered and when as well as how. I can unlock the door foe somebody from anywhere I have a phone signal. And it is very competitively priced. The instructions are full size, well written and help with installation as well as operation. It even includes an installation template for new installations.

I love this lock! BUT I have ordered 2 with handles (the squared off modern one) and on both the fingerprint part did not work. Customer service was excellent and they sent new locks both times that work amazing. I would order the lock alone and get a handle elsewhere. That being said the lock is easy to install and when the fingerprint aspect works it makes life awesome! You can name the fingerprint in the app so you can see who came and went and when. It pops up as a banner on your phone the second it is both locked and unlocked and tells you how…key, keypad, fingerprint, or one touch locking. In the app it gives you a list of the whole days activities and stores that for a year! You can add keypad numbers permanently and give each person a different one and name them as well. You can do a temporary keypad number to let someone in to do work and then delete it. You can open it from wherever you are on the app and lock it as well. If you have an aging parent you can track if they are in or out and they don’t need to keep track of a key. You can open the door if emergency services are on their way on the app. Great for kids, no more keys to lose and you know who came and went and at what time. I took off a star for the ones that did not work because that was a pain in the neck for sure and because the time on the daily log is in 24 hour time and I wish you could change it to AM/PM. Guess I’m learning military time. Also the programming can be a little bit of a learning curve if you are older. The instructions are good and there is a number to call on the front of the instruction booklet if you get stuck and it is answered quickly by knowledgeable people. There is a tiny pin to do a reset and I recommend you either tape it to the side of the lock on the inside or inside a kitchen cabinet where you can find it easily. And don’t lose the instruction books so you can change keypad numbers and fingerprints over time. When this works it is the most awesome thing I have bought in a very long time and the price is really reasonable as well!

Purchase them almost 7 months ago still has inside original battery said works perfect sometime maybe from 20 touches fingerprint sensor maybe going to be miss work like three times of 20. It’s kind of when you have a wet finger or maybe dirty finger but I’m not sure about how it’s gonna be for the different. Looks like this how it’s accurate gonna work but in my particular case it’s working well good software good phone application, which I can use for a remote opening closing and set the pin and it’s a good goodbye and a good price and I really like it.

I just replaced my key entry deadbolt with this lock. I really don’t like fidgeting with keys. Easy installation with easy to follow instructions. It took my son about 1/2 an hour to have it all set up. I love the auto lock feature along with the fingerprint option. Although that feature stopped working I was able to speak with Aaron who was a very patient and kind support agent who walked me through it and had it working again very quickly. I also love that my family can input their own passwords when they come to visit. Would definitely recommend
