Let's start with the bad. Very poor instructions and documentation. It is poorly written, vague, and missing key information. That is the only reason I gave it 4 Stars. Fortunately, there is a plethora of information online to glean from. First off pair the lock with your phone. Hold the phone close to the lock (2 to 4 inches). Once paired just go to the APP to set the... (Settings/Basics/Admin Passcode) Remember to keep the phone a few inches from the lock when you do this. Don't use the keypad to try and do this, and do this right after pairing. Yes, you should purchase the Veise G2 Gateway for $35.99. Go online to find documentation for the APP DDLock. It is a wonderful and well-written APP. The lock hardware is high quality and well-built. Install was a breeze and the provided parts will cover all your needs. I used much longer screws for the striker plates and lock mounting to the door. That's just me though. The provided screws are probably just fine. This integrated with my Google Home flawlessly, and the FOBS was a bonus. I highly recommend this lock and will be purchasing another one for a side door on the house. ... show more

I love this new lock system. This is well worth the money. It is easy to install and use. You can use a small keychain card to open door if you don't want to put in a code. You download a FREE app and can make codes for everyone with there own code access or temporary codes for one time use. It shows on your app everytime its opened and by who's code. I really liked the look and quality of this smart lock. Unfortunately it didn’t fit my door because it didn’t have adjustable deadbolt. Also you need to drill a screw hole at the top to have it sit flat, which is not the case with the one I bought after returning this.

The lock looks elegant and was somewhat easy to install ( you need to drill a whole through your door BTW) To control the door remotely, you need to buy a separate device ( G2 Gateway). The Gateway setup/app part has been a total nightmare . The Gateway constantly drops wi-fi ( i work in IT and i guarantee is not my network ). This product is easy to installet, even de configuration. The most the I like it was they show the video how to make the confirations I was wondering if have doble look but its just one. Other wise is good have 2 card, 2 Keys, and you can put code in the Door too.

I gave it 4 stars because it’s only been a week since installing it. It works well so far and the quality seems to be good. It comes with the door handle which is nice but typically they are pricey so with that being said, for the price I paid, it’s ok. Saved my original door handle in the event I have to replace it!
