This lock and doorknob combo was very easy to install and worked exactly the way that we hoped. We purchased one for each of the two doors we use to regularly access our house. The deadbolt doorknob combo smart lock was a great replacement for the standard lock and deadbolt that the previous homeowners had installed. The best part about this product is the key fob. I really, really love the Veise smart lock keyless entry with a deadbolt and I installed it on my back door. I also bought the Veise smart lock for front doors with fingerprint keyless entry. They make a great set. My not-yet able to drive teenage child has been losing keys faster than I can get them copied for years, and now we don't have to worry about that anymore. You can enter the house with the keypad, a fob, and with a key. You can also set up temporary codes for any one that needs entry like repair people or visiting family. The handle looks great both on the inside and outside of my home. The install couldn't have been easier. The box came with really good instructions and a QR code for video instructions. I have never installed a door knob or deadbolt before and I didn't expect it to be very difficult. There was a short learning curve but by the time I installed the first one I really didn't even have to look at the instructions to install the second one. It also came with all the parts one would need to make any necessary adjustments for non standard sizing. I also bought the Veise gateway so the locks will work with my Google Home app. My only complaint is that you are instructed to install the DDlock app which does not show up in the list of google compatible items. I had to install another app that is the same as DDlock and it took me a while to figure that out. Besides the minor app issue, I can say without reservation that this is the lock to keep your home safe and to do so easily. ... show more

I don't write reviews very often; Something has to knock my socks off! In comes the Veise Smart Lock! I've had this for nearly two years and it has worked flawlessly. Last week, I had trouble with the locking mechanism. Mind you, it was still locking and my house was secure by using the keys that came with it, I was able to lock/unlock as I would a deadbolt. In the meantime, I did some trouble shooting without success. I called customer service and promptly got a real person!!! They helped me trouble shoot and it was determined that the locking mechanism wasn't working properly. I was asked to send my address, etc and they promptly sent me a new lock. No charge. No hassle. Just excellent customer service and I'm very happy with my experience. So...buy the lock! If you're looking at others, this is clearly the winner! Excellent customer service is not always a given so when delivered - it deserves to be recognized. Aaron Veise was such a pleasure to work with and I appreciate him resolving my issue as quickly as he could. All my future lock purchases will be through Veise! ... show more

Love the deadbolt so far. Was easy to install build quality was great for the deadbolt. However the doorknob itself came loose on one side and had to get a replacement. The features are really cool too - different programmable codes. The functions of the code and also the programmable cards are nice to have options plus auto lock. One handy thing is the cards can be programmed to multiple deadbolts. Cost wasn’t too bad for what you’re getting. ... show more

I bought this for my front door so I could get rid of my lock box. I had other keyless locks at a different property that did not have the app control; they are nice, but sort of cumbersome to set up and remove passcodes. The app with this one makes it super easy to add and delete passcodes. I loved this set so much, that I got 3 more for the other doors. The app has a feature that will allow you to import passcodes and settings from another lock. This was great because I only had to set up one lock then import the users to all of the other ones. The only con that I have is that I wished they sold multi-packs of these locks so I can have multiple locks with the same physical key instead of having a different key for each lock. Outside of that, these locks are great. They were super easy to install and set up. I would suggest installing the deadbolt first to ensure it has a smooth movement, then the doorknob (as that can be adjusted to ensure the deadbolt lines up when the door is closed. ... show more
