My first time owning a fancy multi- purpose clock. It has so many functions and options to choose starting from the clock itself with 12hr or 24hr system, then alarm clock with different kinds of sound, the sunlight, the brightness, the radio, the sleep music, light effect for the clock, and the duration of alarm and sleep music, Bluetooth and so on.     • Overall, very good, does what it promises.
First of all, there is a problem with the instruction manual. If you have any problems with small print, bring a magnifying glass. This manual print is tiny, as well as the labeling on the buttons. The clock itself is about five inches around, three inches deep. It's less "soccer ball" and more "thick Frisbee," or perhaps "shallow dog food bowl." It is not at all heavy, pretty much a few ounces. Clock was relatively easy to program, even for my kid. Buttons were clearly labeled, even though very small, even with good eyesight. Programming the clock was intuitive, with a little guidance from the manual (again, very small print). Overall, it took approximately 5-10 minutes to program, not counting searching the radio stations. We have not yet needed to use the bluetooth for anything. But the attached lamp is very useful. As well as being part of the alarm, it comes with a manual activation for moving around in the dark. The alarm itself is great, because you can set the volume, so it doesn't necessarily blast you awake--and can be set for use with a blare alarm, or just turning on the radio. The radio, in particular, is very handy. It is very easy to tune, especially for my area. Even the seven-day week readout is useful. The sleep sounds are relaxing, going from light rain to high-speed winds. Worth every penny. Better than my last one, bought from Best Buy. You will notice that we haven't even scratched the surface of everything this clock has. It make take weeks to explore all of it. It's really quite impressive. Why is this not a five star review? Because the plug really isn't long enough. Have extension cords handy. ... show more

I like the sunrise feature. The rain sounds are my favorite for falling asleep. My box was missing it's charger. I wrote Vecelo and they promptly shipped me a charger. I appreciate the fm radio and the fact that it has an internal battery to keep the the time during a power outage.

Excited to see this item. Waking up in the dark morning makes me grumpy. Looking forward to the dark mornings now. Alas, it's still summer so I don't know if I'll wake up grumpy or ready to go. This item is compact. Love the shape. I wish the cord was longer as outlets vary. Easily remedied by purchasing another cord. Don't lose the manual! Setting the clock was easy, setting the radio was great. I'm still not sure if I have the sunrise light to bright set correctly. I think there is a step missing. By chance, I found a way to set the light. ... show more

    • Has lots of nice features, but works on military time
There is a lot to like about this sunrise alarm clock. I love the color variations to the lights and the variety of pleasant sleep and morning sounds you can program. It is a little complicated to use, and I am going to need to play with it more before I am fully comfortable using it. My one quibble, and the reason for the four-star review, is that it seems to be programmed only to run on military time. I am in the US and am used to "am" and "pm" times, so I prefer a clock with that functionality. Maybe this has it, but I haven't been able to figure it out from the instructions or playing around with the settings. Other than that, it is a very nice alarm clock with a lot of good features. ... show more
