I have owned quite a few leaf blowers over the years. Starting, of course, with the gas powered, ear shattering, cumbersome back pack behemoths, all the way down to corded electric models. In terms of sheer power, nothing beats the old gas models (they can pretty much blow your car across the driveway sideways). And, while the corded electric blowers are still quite effective, if not quite as powerful, you have to drag a 50 to 100 foot cord behind you, which usually winds up getting caught up on something and causes you to have to backtrack to untangle it (annoying, to say the least). Enter the VASG cordless leaf blower. With regards to power, this by far generates the least amount of wind force. Having said that , it still does pretty well at pushing pine needles and other light debris in the direction that you want it to go. Where this shines over other models is its small size, light weight, and portability. I have had two other cordless blowers in the past, and this is definitely the best one so far. It comes with three batteries (certainly a plus), and it is fairly easy to assemble and disassemble (with the exception of threading on the sectional nozzles, as the threads are coarse and take a bit of patience to line up correctly). My only two criticisms are that 1) the battery life is fairly unremarkable. The manufacturer states that the batteries will last up to 30 minutes on a full charge. I charged all three batteries, and the best time I got with a charge was 17 minutes. The average is about 10 minutes. But, with three batteries, that was enough time for me to clean my decks and driveway (barely). 2) My only other note is that there is no "ON" position that can be activated. To power this model you have to depress the trigger....and hold it in place the entire time you are using it (speed can be adjusted by the amount of pressure you maintain on the trigger). I have a pretty firm grip, and decent finger strength, but after a minute or so of holding the trigger down it gets a bit tiresome. My previous cordless blower had a large lever that was thumb activated and locked in place, so you could blow leaves to your heart's content (or until the battery ran dry). Other than those issues, this leaf blower is a pretty good buy for the price (at around $60). It is a bit more powerful than a lot of other cordless versions, and, other than the trigger not able to be locked in place, it is well designed ergonomically . If you search hard enough, you might be able to find something better, but in the meantime, this product will serve you well.

I finally used this blower and am very pleased with its performance. I did have to use the highest setting to get some of the leaves to move but admittedly, some of them were wet. Battery seemed to hold up very well, but I did only use the blower for about 15 to 20 minutes. The fact that it is so lightweight is a plus for this 70 year old woman. Overall, I am pleased with this purchase.

The lowest power is quite anemic. Mid-power is hard to maintain with the spring-loaded trigger. High power is limited, about what you should expect for $60. Noise at top power is very high-pitched and piercing (a pair of earplugs is included for good reason). I had trouble screwing the tube extensions into one another; maybe this gets easier the more times you do it and the threads loosen up. My biggest issue is the spring-loaded trigger. I had not done my due diligence prior to buying and assumed it had a switch to turn it on and off. But you must maintain pressure on the trigger to keep the blower going; not good for old, weak, or arthritic hands and fingers. Overall, I would recommend this blower for only light duty, quick jobs, and/or small, urban yards. It is light and easy to handle, The 4-section blowing tube provides a lot of length options. Three batteries is convenient; though, because I recommend it for only light duty, three really isn't necessary. A bag or cheap case for the batteries is not included, but would be a welcomed addition. I still MIGHT keep it, but only for quick sidewalk cleanup after mowing; or to put in my golf bag for autumn rounds to blow leaves off the green or in the rough.

Works well for what it is it is light compact and pretty simple to use the advertised 30 min run time is for all 3 batteries not 30 mins on each but for small tasks it is quick to grab and go if you are only planning on using a leaf blower for a short time but still on a regular basis I would recommend this product since I bought one I used it pretty much everyday after work to clear leaves and other fall debris away from the doors where we go in and out of the house and it made that task much faster and easier than using a broom or rake trying to get under the porch steps and other tight places where the stuff would tend to collect on a daily basis so all that being said if you are looking for a small light easy to use leaf blower for smaller tasks I think it is worth buying and at least trying it out for the price point that its in
