In the end, I do end up liking these bar stools. They aren’t the most comfortable because the seat is so small and the area where you set your feet below isn’t comfortable at all. For the price it’s not bad. I’ll be keeping the item. Building this thing was harder then expected and I’ve built I don’t even know how many tables, chairs, shelves, etc. I built it by myself and maybe that was the problem. Had I had someone to hold the pieces up for me it would have been a lot easier. If I could redo it, I’d probably invest in a more expensive but better quality item. ... show more

The bar stools are very nice looking. The wooden seat is very natural looking and the contrast with the black is very striking. They are sturdy and well constructed and quite easy to assemble. Unfortunately, the plastic cap on top of the seat back was missing on one of the stools. I reached out to the seller. They responded back very quickly, for which I commend them. They offered a partial refund or to send a replacement seat back. I opted for the replacement part. They sent the replacement part right away. Again, kudos to them. Unfortunately, I just received it and, although it looked the same, the replacement part has less screw holes and they don't align with the base. I just reached back out to the seller and am awaiting a response. Otherwise, I am very happy with these bar stools and really enjoy them. ... show more

Hard to assemble, parts don’t line up. Stool seat is like a medieval torture device. Barely any padding and way too small. Should have seen the similar concerns about the stool in other reviews. Bolts do not line up during assembly with threaded holes. The need coercion. Cheap price, but cheap all around. Unless your Thumbelina, you won’t be comfortable in these stools. ... show more
