I am giving this a five star as review as it has worked out great for me. I am an old guy of seventy two and recently had a knee replacement . With a knee replacement you need to exercise your knee but not put pressure on it. So I can use the electric to get me up the hills and pedal gently down the hills. It was not very difficult to put together, came with in a reasonable time and compared to other bikes was very affordable. The fact it folds up is huge benefit, although heavy so it helps me to take the battery out when loading into my pick up. So far customer service has been helpful, courteous and timely. I am not a avid bike rider so cant speak to the mechanics of the unit. To me it seems to operate just fine. Gears are smooth in transition and breaks work fine. You can adjust the seat and the handle bars easily. I have only had it a few weeks so I don't know how it holds up in the long run but nothing about it seems cheap but I do think the wear of constantly folding and unfolding it will undoubtedly be harder on it than bikes that do not have that feature. The user manual is well written and not some two page instructions in poor English. I have had much pleasure being able to get outside into the fresh air and rehab my knee at the same time. Bike rides very well, very easy to pedal. Handle bar grips can be uncomfortable if you have soft hands.

It's unbelievable that you are asking me to pay for postage on your product which was defective. How many times have you done this before? You sent me a defective product and now want me to trust that you will honor my return of I spend another $200 to return your defective ebike? Unbelievable

I purchased two of these Varun bikes on July 17, 2024, and received both on July 26th, 2024. Overall shipping was relatively fast. Assembly was straightforward to accomplish. Overall build Quality was better than expected. I received the wrong seat post for one of the bikes I ordered, but Olivia at Customer Service quickly sent me a replacement. She was also nice enough to include a complimentary bike lock. My bikes did require a little out-of-box tuning but this should be expected. These bikes are really fun to ride. A good value for foldable ones. They come mostly assembled, and only take about one hour to finish. (We haven’t had them long enough to comment on the battery life.) We’ve added a couple of accessories of our own. We recommend these bikes for sure!

While not specifically designed for children, we bought my 12 year old this bike for his birthday (also with the intent that my 4’11”) wife could ride it. My son has come home from school every day last week asking to take it out around the neighborhood. We folded it up and took it camping with us over the Labor Day weekend too. It’s a great little bike with a lot of power. And it easily gets up some major hills in the neighborhood. Assembly instructions left a bit to be desired as the instructions were generic for more Varun bikes other than this one but not annoying enough to not give this bike an overall 5 star review.     • It's a good ride.
I got the C-20 Black, and it's a good looking bike. Easy assembly. Although, it's like 70lbs and I live up a flight of stairs, I thought it was easy to hold and carry. I'm 5'8 and I can sit comfortably with my feet to the ground with the seat near the lowest. I'm probably the minimum height, if that helps. I weigh 160lbs and was able to really float on this bike. The motor did well uphill. It's a lot of fun, and I found myself pedaling with no power in certain situations just because. Handles well. My dislikes? There's a slight delay when I twist the throttle before the motor kicks in. Perhaps that's normal with electric bikes? I'm not sure. It's my first e-bike after all. I did get used to used to it, and for me, it's nothing to take a star away from the rating. I think VARUN makes good bikes, and perhaps we'll see more reviews on places like YouTube.
