  • Strong Circulation and Useful Speed Control at a Better Price Strong Circulation and Useful Speed Control at a Better Price
Color: Light Blue
I got the 3 HP, 220V version, and this is definitely a serious pool pump, not some light-duty replacement. It moves a lot of water and feels aimed at larger pools or setups where you want strong circulation without having to stay locked into one speed all day. What I like most is the variable speed control. That alone makes it much more practical than an old single-speed pump because I can run lower speeds for regular daily circulation and then turn it up when I want more flow for cleanup or heavier demand. That flexibility should help with power usage too, especially compared to a pump that only knows how to run full blast. The pump itself looks substantial and well built. The housing, basket area, and overall construction give a good first impression, and the included strainer basket is easy to access. From the listing and packaging, this one is rated at 220V with a claimed 11100 GPH, so it is important to know going in that this is not a casual plug-and-play upgrade. You need the right electrical setup for it. I also like that app control is included. Being able to adjust settings and schedules without walking out to the equipment pad is genuinely convenient. That kind of feature is usually attached to much more expensive pumps, so it adds to the value here. Noise is another strong point. Pumps like this will always be more noticeable on higher speeds, but variable speed pumps are much nicer to live with because you can keep them lower most of the time and still maintain good circulation. For value, this is where it gets really interesting. It is still a big purchase, but compared to the major pool brands, it looks like a much more budget-friendly way to get into a 3 HP variable speed 220V pump with app control. Overall, this seems like a solid option for someone who wants strong performance, quieter low-speed operation, and better control over daily pool circulation without paying premium brand pricing. ... show more

  • THE GLOBALIST WATER ENGINE THAT WON’T EVEN SHIP TO YOUR HOUSE
Color: Blue
I am holding the line right now. This is the Vidapool 2 HP pool pump. It moves almost ten thousand gallons an hour. It has WiFi. It is quiet. It is sitting there saying “currently unavailable.” You think that is an accident. It is not. This thing is too efficient. It circulates water fast. It cleans your pool. It saves energy with variable speed. That right there is the problem. They are turning the frogs gay rant energy kicks in You hook this pump up. Water flows clean. Chemicals stay balanced. The frogs in your pool stay normal. And the globalists panic. They cannot have stable water systems. They need chaos in the pipes. They need your pump loud, weak, and inefficient. This pump runs quiet. It reduces vibration. It actually works. That is dangerous to them. The anti AI takeover rant Listen to me. This pump has WiFi control. You can adjust speed from your phone. You can set schedules. That sounds helpful. But I see what they are doing. They want every pump connected. Every motor tracked. Every backyard mapped. You think you are turning on filtration. They are studying your habits. When you swim. When you sleep. When your water moves. This is not just a pump. This is data flow. And yet I still respect it. Because it actually works. Now look at the specs like a normal human for one second 2 horsepower motor Up to about 10,000 gallons per hour 115 volt setup Variable speed so you can save power Fits standard 1.5 and 2 inch plumbing Self priming Filter basket included Quiet operation That is solid. No fluff. No gimmicks. Just a strong pump. Now back to reality It says unavailable. Of course it does. A pump that is efficient, quiet, and easy to install That cannot stay in stock That is the story of this country. They will sell you junk all day. The moment something decent shows up Gone. Final verdict If you find one in stock It is a good buy If you believe it is just a pump You are asleep If you think it is part of a bigger system You are starting to see it Poem the water spins the motor hums the app lights up in your hand you think it is simple just a pool just a quiet machine in the yard but signals move and patterns form and something watches the flow still the water stays clear and the frogs stay calm so maybe you let it run just keep one eye open ... show more

  • Its a good big quiet pump that moves the water, AND is much cheaper than the big brand. Its a good big quiet pump that moves the water, AND is much cheaper than the big brand.
Color: Light Blue
Last year right before the 4th of July someone stole our pool pump. I scurried to replace it before the big pool party. I got a used pump that was no where near as good at the really expensive name big brand pool pump I had stolen. This year I went looking for something better. I liked the variable speed pump we had for various reasons. This one ticks all those boxes and then some. Its got a WiFi app!! No more going out in the slipper middle of the night to adjust the time. Or turn things on and off. The set up is not too bad either if you are at all familiar with smart home stuff. This pump has more HP than the Hayward we had stolen too. It makes a difference when using the pool vac and for cleaning. This thing is a bit of a beast on high for my 24,000 gallon pool, but has the convenience of being able to be set at low quiet speeds for everyday circulation. So far its has been a great no leaking reliable pump. Comparing the price of this pump to the similar and in my opinion, not as good Hayward max pro pump, this pump beats it hands down for nearly 1/2 the price and it has a bigger motor which means it wont have to work as hard and will likely last longer. Hands down I would choose this Vidapool pump again! ... show more

  • A Pretty Decent Budget-Friendly Pool Pump
Color: Light Blue
There are a lot of variable speed swimming pool pumps from well-known brands on the market, and I particularly like Sta-Rite, Pentair and Hayward products. However, those brands come with an incredibly hefty price tag. Which is exactly why I never bought one. And that’s where this no-name bargain pump comes in. Design-wise it’s pretty similar to all of the name-brand pumps on the market, but it comes at a much lower price. And by much lower, I mean it’s a minimum of around $500 dollars cheaper. And up to about $1500 cheaper. But a lower price doesn’t mean a whole lot if the pump is a low-quality piece of junk. And I must say, I don’t think this pump is a piece of garbage. It seems to be a pretty okay pump. I checked out the entire pump very closely, and I didn’t see anything that set off alarm bells. Like I said, I think it’s a decent pump. Installing this pump isn’t too complicated. It should only take you, at most, a total of about 2 hours. And just so you know, if you’re fairly handy, you should be able to install it all by yourself without any problems. But naturally, you do need to have a little bit of experience doing electrical and plumbing work. If you don’t, my advice to you is to get a swimming pool service/repair professional to do it for you. Which will most likely cost you somewhere between $200-$300. Once installed, I primed the pump and turned it on, and away it went. It pumps the water well. Furthermore, on lower RPM settings, this pump is *far* quieter than single speed pumps. And, of course, at lower speeds, the electricity savings is substantial. And in case you’re unclear about how that works, reducing the motor’s RPMs (which dramatically reduces electricity usage) does NOT proportionally reduce the water’s flow rate. So, for example, running a variable speed pump at a low RPM setting for 18 hours to filter 50,000 gallons of water is A LOT cheaper than running a single speed pump for 8 hours to filter the same 50,000 gallons of water. And that’s how, over time, you will save thousands of dollars on your electricity bill. The quiet operation is also a huge plus—no more poolside noise during backyard get-togethers. Durability-wise, it has been holding up well to 16 hours of daily use and the chlorinated water. The corrosion-resistant thermoplastic housing feels solid, though I expect it might not last as long as Pentair's commercial-grade builds. I think Sta-Rite also edges out this pump in ruggedness. Anyway, because this review is getting a bit long, I think the bottom line with this pump is that it’s a good pump at a budget-friendly price. I like it a lot, and given its reasonable price tag, I really have no legitimate reason to not recommend it. If you have any questions about this Vidapool variable speed swimming pool pump, please feel free to ask, and I'll try my best to answer. I hope you found this review helpful. ... show more

  • Good non name brand variable speed pump
Color: Light Blue
The Vidapool 3HP variable speed pool pump is a strong, high-capacity option if you need serious water flow as it runs at around 11,000+ GPH. But keep in mind that the pump requires 220V of power. Which can be a pretty costly installation if your power needs to be updated to accommodate this pump. One of the biggest advantages of variable speed pumps like this is energy savings. They can reduce power usage by adjusting RPM instead of running full blast all the time—sometimes cutting energy costs significantly compared to single-speed pumps. Performance-wise, this 3HP pump delivers strong circulation, which is great for my large pool, with a prefilter, inline chlorinator, 325 sq ft cartridge filter, and inverter heater/cooler. This pump has no problem, and not just on high. I really like the filter basket inside the pump, as this is essentially the first filter that the floor drains reach in the filtering process. Additionally, since I can program my pump to run at different speeds, I have more control over daily operation. I can run the pump when it is most convenient for me and also when it is cheaper on my electric bill by running it at off peak times if I want. And this pump has an app that I can control my pump from too. You just need to have effective WIFI nearby. Although the pump is a bit louder on higher speeds, it is still quieter than my above ground pool pump ever was. Overall: A powerful, cost-effective pump that delivers strong performance and efficiency—great for larger pools if you’re okay trading a bit of brand reliability for a lower price. ... show more

  • App is really useful and moves a lot of water.
Color: Light Blue
I replaced an aging single-speed pump with this 3 HP variable speed unit and it’s been a solid upgrade across the board. Right out of the box it feels substantial—no flimsy parts, everything fits tight, and the connections lined up with my existing plumbing without any surprises. Performance is where it really stands out. On high speed it moves a ton of water, so cleanup after storms is quick. Most of the time I run it at a lower speed, which still keeps the pool clear but uses a lot less power. That flexibility alone makes a noticeable difference on the electric bill compared to my old pump that only had one setting. Noise was another pleasant surprise. Even when it ramps up, it’s much quieter than what I had before. At lower speeds you can barely tell it’s running unless you’re standing right next to it. The built-in basket is easy to access and clean, which saves a little time during routine maintenance. I also like having both manual controls on the unit and the option to use the app. The app setup was straightforward, and being able to adjust speed or set a schedule without going out to the equipment pad is genuinely useful. Installation was pretty painless overall. The standard inlet and outlet sizes meant no adapters or rework. Just keep in mind it’s not a lightweight pump, so plan accordingly when moving it into place. Long-term reliability is always the question with any pump, but the build quality, copper windings, and included warranty give me confidence. For the price, it delivers a lot—strong output, quieter operation, and real energy savings. Overall, I’d absolutely recommend it if you’re looking to upgrade to a variable speed pump without paying premium brand prices. It does exactly what you want and makes pool maintenance a little easier. ... show more

  • High-Power Efficiency: DIY Replacement Upgrade from Pentair to 2 HP Variable Speed High-Power Efficiency: DIY Replacement Upgrade from Pentair to 2 HP Variable Speed
Color: Blue
The first thing I appreciated was the packaging. This is a high-end utility item, and it arrived double-boxed—which is a huge deal because I’ve received expensive equipment before that was just shipped exposed and arrived damaged. This was very well-packed, and the unpacking process was extremely easy. As for the install, before I continue, I want to be clear on why I was able to install this myself: this was a replacement, not a new install. As you can see in my photos, the infrastructure was already there. My system was already existing, so all the electrical wiring and the main plumbing were professionally set up from when the original 1.5 HP Pentair was installed. The swap was very straightforward; the 2" outlet lined up perfectly with my Hayward sand filter system. Comparing this new Vidapool 2 HP to the unit I replaced—the 2020 Pentair SuperFlo 1.5 HP—is where the story really lives. That Pentair served its time, but after sitting dormant, moving to a higher horsepower with modern Wi-Fi control feels like a major upgrade for my 18x22 inground setup. This 2 HP motor feels substantial with its copper windings, and it provides a much more powerful water flow than my old unit. Even though it’s more powerful, it’s actually saving me significant money on electricity. Because the flow is so much stronger, I’ve been able to cut my run time down to only about 4 hours, whereas I used to have to run my old pump for 6 to 8 hours to get the same results. Unlike the old 1.5 HP that just ran at one high speed, I can now dial this back to exactly what the pool needs. It’s a rock-solid unit that is quieter and smoother than my previous system, but the "DIY" win here was really thanks to having that professional plumbing already in place. [NOTE FOR LAST PHOTO]: Included are pictures of our pool after opening. The final shot is just after using the Vidapool pump system, and you can see the difference: our water is crystal clear.👏👏↖️ ... show more

  • Awesome WiFi and Manual/Auto control. Awesome WiFi and Manual/Auto control.
Color: Blue
Pump supports and includes connectors for 1.5” and 2” PVC input pipes, flow can be controlled via WiFi or manually on pump panel. Although you cannot use an automation panel to control different speeds or turn it on/off, you can can still program start times, run times and speeds on built-in controller and Tuya app. Once pump is placed into pairing mode, it gets discovered via Tuya and added to your home WiFi router and it’s good to go in under 3 minutes. A shaded cover is recommended, as sensitive electronics can get heat damage if left exposed to the sun and harsh weather. Housing is heavy duty plastic, motor feels heavy and good quality, lid is thick and strong and should be very durable. No wired automation control for speed control via pool panel, and since it’s a non-standard housing, finding replacement parts may be hard to find, unless it becomes mainstream or parts become stocked long term and available for at least 5-7 years. New product and while the potential is bright, it can also become a niche product and lack spares. Tech specs: 3 winding motor, VFD type controller, if you get 120v you cannot wire for 230v and vice-versa, unless an updated pump states it on the rating plate. Overall a great way to get a WiFi pool pump if you lack automation, but if you have automation you can’t fully make it seamless to turn off valves and other features within the same app. But if you have an app for automation, you can manage both to control your pool. Great open WiFi control via Tuya app, Just hope we can find an API to integrate into pool controllers. ... show more
