I have been using two of these dash cams in two different cars for about 8 months. It's been rock-solid reliable. The cameras are very high resolution. This thing is packed with features. You can control it with voice commands (for example, to select with camera should be displayed on the screen, to take a screenshot, etc.). It has a motion sensor that will automatically take a picture when it senses a shock (possible accident). You can connect to the dash can using your smart phone and the Vantrue app. That's useful for adjusting settings (easier than navigating the settings on the small screen of the dash cam itself) and also for getting video off the dash cam without needing a memory card reader. Overall, I'm very pleased with this dash cam. It has all the features I want and more. Most importantly, it's well-made and reliable.

I purchased my Vantrue N4 Pro 3-channel dashcam in March 2024, and it has been working flawlessly ever since. I drive every day in the extreme Las Vegas heat doing gig work, and this camera has been a lifesaver. The setup is simple, the app is easy to use, and the overall performance is excellent. Recently, my rear camera stopped working, so I contacted Vantrue support. They responded quickly, were very professional, and even replaced my camera and sent me a new cable. The replacement came directly from China without any issues, and now everything is working perfectly again. Overall, I’m extremely satisfied with both the product quality and the customer service. Vantrue truly stands behind their products — I highly recommend them!

:::Update:::: The company reached out after my original review and asked if they could refund the money as I ‘have experienced something not common’ I accepted with plans to write an update advising how responsive the customer service was and use the money to try another SD card. Well.. it was Fake News. No offer. No email. No return. No other contact. Nothing. Just one blind email sent to an unhappy customer. It’s a shame really.. I think this could be easily resolved with an update (tried) or a different SD card (which I am not buying). But for them to reach and offer something they never planned to provide says A lot! ——Original Review——- was two stars. This is just ok, a good solid ok. I bought the recommended SD card and I constantly get the error that SD card is writing slow. Contacted tech support and was told to reformat. Did that. A week later does it again. Reformatted again. Another week or so and it’s back to the error. 🤷🏼♂️ The video quality is good but the consistent error is well beyond annoying thus earning it a two star rating for me. The interface with the iPhone is nice, the conversion is easy and downloads to the phone relatively easily. At this price point I expected better software and less annoying errors. All-in-all .. mediocre is all I can give it.

I have one of the Vantrue dash cams on my motorcycle for a couple of years and love it. I was asked by Vantrue to review this unit and agreed based on my experience with their other product. This dashcam was not difficult to install. It came with clear cling type adhesives to put on the windows first so that the more permanent adhesive on the mounts would not damage the glass or be difficult to remove later. I liked that the 12V power adapter had built-in USB ports so that if you had existing USB chargers in your 12V cigarette lighter socket, you could replace them with this power adapter and still be able to charge your USB devices. I was concerned that it would be difficult to route the rear camera wire to my back window. I have a 2018 F150 pickup truck, and it ended up being pretty easy. There was a console mounted to my windshield that I could easily pop the cover from and route the wire through. Then I ran it along the ceiling trim over to the door frame. I had to only remove one trim panel piece with a couple of screws and the rest of the routing was as simple as tucking the wire behind the interior trim. I was pleasantly surprised. The picture quality is determined by the resolution selected. You can have a full-resolution front camera only or choose lower resolutions for the rear and front cameras or the rear, interior, and front cameras. This was a little disappointing because I expected all cameras to be at full resolution at the same time when recording. The one other complaint is that it did not come with a memory card. I tried to use a memory card from an existing dashcam but kept getting an error that it was too slow. So, you will need a sufficiently fast memory card for this camera. Thankfully, they are not expensive for smaller cards. I like that whenever there is a sudden movement on the vehicle, it will trigger to keep the recording. I think the intention is to keep recordings if you are in an accident or if someone hits the vehicle. It is a bit sensitive and triggers whenever I hit a pothole or speed bump but I imagine that can be adjusted in the settings if I wanted to. The app is pretty good. It allows you to connect via WiFi to the camera to view the recordings and if you want, to download them to the phone. I use the same app for the motorcycle dash cam, and it's pretty good. I had previously used a less expensive dashcam from Costco that was OK, but this one is much nicer and has nicer features as well as higher resolution. I'm happy that Vantrue offered the unit for me to review, and I'm happy with the product. I would definitely recommend this specific camera as well as the brand.

The video quality on this dash cam is excellent. The 4K footage is super clear during the day and still really solid at night. Installing it was easier than I expected, and the instructions were straightforward. Downloading clips works fine through WiFi, but the download speed feels a bit slow, especially for big 4K files. Make sure you get a good memory card because the high-quality recordings eat up space quickly. The only thing I really wish it had is LTE so I could check footage remotely, and the option to add extra cameras down the road. If those features were included, it would be an easy 5 stars. For now, it’s still one of the best dash cams out there. Great features like collision and parking mode.
