You can feel the quality of electronics when you hold them, and this one isn’t cheap. The directions are fantastic. Easy to install, I used the OBD wired connection kit. Great interface, great picture quality. App works great as well. I used GROK (GROK is Elon’s free, smartest AI app on the planet) to find the best dash cam for the money and this was it. Liked it so much I bought a second one. Easy to pull video off of with the phone. The settings have all the settings you would want and are easy to use. Sound quality is good. Is also detects and records motion while parked. I will probably buy a third one and replace an older dash cam in my third car.

I have had a different model, the Vantrue N2X, for my vehicle for 8 months now. I have been so impressed by its build, video quality and reliability, that I purchased the S1 Pro for my wife’s car. I would have purchased the same model I have, but my wife liked the S1 Pro's compact design and rear camera; she has been happy ever since. This dashcam has been installed now for a few months and it has been nothing but exceptional. The installation was very simple and the initial setup and configuration was a snap. All of the installation materials were provided - dual sided adhesive pads, camera mount, clips and even a nifty, scuff-proof plastic tool to separate the moldings so you can easily tuck and hide the cables behind the interior trim. The on-screen configuration instructions are descriptive and easy to follow along with. Once you're done, you literally set it and forget it. This dash cam is loaded with features, such as - voice commands, remote viewing and file transfer through the phone app, parking mode and more! Its compact design enables it to sit virtually unseen behind the rearview mirror. The image quality of both cameras, during day and night, is very clear and high-definition. The audio recordings are crystal clear and the simple and easy-to-remember voice commands work great, providing hands-free operation. Transferring videos or pictures from the camera is super easy - simply eject the micro SD card from the camera and install it in a PC or laptop. You can even connect to the camera's wi-fi and quickly download videos and pictures to the app and sync them to your phone's photo library. In summary - with its exceptional build and image quality, rich feature set, reliability, I am extremely satisfied with the S1 Pro and would highly recommend it.

I chose this model because it has the newest Sony Starvis 2 technology chip. I'm also an amateur astronomer and this chip is used in the best astronomy cameras. It took me a bit to get the camera synced with my phone. But just be patient and it works well. The performance of the camera is really amazing. I looked at a lot of competitors at Best buy and the build quality is outstanding. At first it was a little intimidating because I didn't want wires hanging all over, but it's actually really easy to hide them in the car's trim. The power cable with the cigarette lighter adapter plug on the end is the perfect length to reach a plug that is located in the dashboard. But My Corolla doesn't have one on the dash. Mine is located inside the armrest. So I had to buy a 3' extension for about $8. No big deal. Also remember that the camera does not come with a memory card, so remember to buy one. You don't have to buy the Vantrue branded one. Just make sure that you buy a fast on (Class 3). The last thing I bought was a variable polarizer filter that screws into the lens up front. It's also called a CPL filter that is 40mm. It vastly cuts down on glare when you have sunlight low in the sky coming directly at the windshield. It makes a HUGE difference with bright lights at night. Well worth the $20. Just keep your windshield clean inside because a good camera like this will show the haze you don't notice with your eyes alone. I couldn't be happier!

The media could not be loaded. Picture this: It’s 10 p.m., and I’m driving home after a long shift at work. The streets are dimly lit, and rain blurs my windshield. Suddenly, a car swerves into my lane, my heart starts pounding, but thanks to the Vantrue N2X Dual Dash Cam, every detail is captured in stunning 1944p clarity, like a high-definition crime drama (minus the drama, thankfully!). The 158° super wide front lens caught the plate of the reckless driver; evidence gained! The Sony STARVIS 2 sensor is a real game-changer. It is nearly night vision goggle-like in complete darkness; the video was crisp with no grainy shadows, simply clean video. I like that the internal 5G WiFi makes it possible for me to preview and download video directly with the Vantrue app, which is very intuitive and simple to navigate. The GPS tracking is also a lifesaver; it logs my speed, route, and even generates driving reports (perfect for tax deductions!). I already own another Vantrue dash cam, and hardwiring it to your vehicle is a no-brainer, really, since I work in a busy area, so I'm always wary of whoever approaches my car. The voice control does require some time to get used to, but it functions quite effectively for the most part. Basic voice commands such as "turn off the mic" or "take a picture" and other commands can be used. The magnetic mount is easy to take off or reposition, and due to the supercapacitor, it survives freezing winters and scorching Texas summers. Overall, the Vantrue N2X Dual Dash Cam has already proven its worth by capturing a dangerous near-miss in stunning 1944p detail, with its 158° ultra-wide lens ensuring no critical evidence is missed. The Sony STARVIS 2 sensor delivers crystal-clear footage even in pitch darkness, while the GPS tracking makes managing and documenting drives effortless.
