At first I was not in love with this product and even set up a return but the more I used it the more I bonded with it. Great value, well built, stays in tune. Sounds great but I think I will replace the strings eventually. Nice scale, action is acceptable, you can get 5 frets up without too much intonation.

I play many instruments, but first venture into strings. So thought I was starting cheaply to see if I liked idea. This Vangoa turned out to be excellent! Good case, tuner, strap, extra strings. I like the workmanship and beveled edge where right arm rests. But, best of all is I think it has very good sound quality. Full and pleasant. (Caution, I at not have the best ear for tone--too many years playing bagpipes, fifes, and horns.) But, I can say my wife actually wants me to play this instrument. If I could only sing (sigh). I recommend this Uke for beginners and regular playing enjoyment. And outstanding cost. Watch out, you'll end up spending a lot more on music books!

Was going to return this ukulele until I compared it to another entry level ukulele costing over $100. It holds its own. Good sound and very playable. Great starter to intermediate ukulele. Good value for all you get!

I have been wanting to learn to play for sometime and finally decided to go for it when a friend expressed an interest as well. I ordered one in blue and one in green and the wood is very pretty (and, as you can see, holds a sticker well). The set comes with everything you need to start learning, so we were able to jump right in. Although it may be awhile before our music is ready for prime-time, we are having fun!
