I looked all over, online & in stores & tried on a bunch of shoes before getting these. I tried the Ghost 15 & latest Adrenaline(? I think) on in a store & the ghost is so much lighter of a shoe. I do dog walking & the shoes I have don't have support & I was having achilles heel pain. I saw a neighbor wearing the same shoes & asked her about them & she said she likes them so much she won't go back to the previous brand she had been wearing for years. These are comfortable, lightweight, breathable & have a huge selection of colors too. They are really good shoes with support!! I haven't had any heel pain since the first couple of days. Thumbs way up!! Side note: Brooks site said to order 1/2 size up, which I didn't need. Maybe if you're a runner...?

I've been buying Brooks for probably 9 years, since I tried on my first pair. Before that it was Saucony's, which have a similar fit, but I find Brooks are better for my narrow heel, wide toe box/metatarsal, high arches with prominent bone on the top of my foot. Since I have sesamoids and plantar fasciitis I do always replace the insole with Dr. Scholl's and add a tri-comfort support. These are wide enough in the midfoot, metatarsal, and toe box to accommodate that.

A girlfriend told me about these shoes and theyโre fabulous. A walk the track with these 3-5 miles a day and they were comfortable right out of the gate. Iโve been an Asics wearer for the last decade however I feel the quality has deteriorated over the last few years. Iโm not sure about hiking or running however these are great for walking. The prices will trend on Amazon so wait for a sale.

I truly love Brooks. Well worth the price. My podiatrist recommended Brooks after my Plantar Fascistic diagnosis. So I ordered these online. After I ordered them, I went to a shoe store and was actually fitted. I take a size and half than my normal size. The gentleman at the shoe store said that with Plantar you need to be able to move your toes which I could not with the size I ordered online. When my order arrived, the size I ordered was too small. Recommendation: when ordering work out shoes, order larger than you normal size.

I purchased these shoes as a gift for my mother for Mother's Day and she loves them. She works on her feet all day, and has back pains often. She heard about these shoes, so it was on her wishlist. She said that her back pain has improved since the first day she wore them. She wears an 8.5 and they were true to size. There are no complaints about these shoes! Best investment for foot support and back pain!

I bought a pair of Asics this past fall and within a month or so I started having heel pain. I did not attribute it to my shoes. Fast forward 6 months later and I'm in a podiatrist office having x-rays for a potential bone spur. I was pretty much in constant pain, limping, etc. It would even wake me up at night hurting. Well, as it turns out, according to the doctor, it is a formb of tendonitis that doesn't affect your arch- just the heel and up the inside of your ankle. So, a cortisone shot plus a new pair of Brooks has me walking more comfortably than I have even before the heel problem showed up. I usually don't spend more than $60 or so on my sneakers because I go through them so fast, but if this is what $100+ shoe will do for you, take my money!

BUY THESE! I have ran at least 10 half marathons. These are the most comfortable running shoes on the market and true to size. I have these in so many colors. I bought my mom some too because she is a big Brooks fan. Actually now that Iโm done with this review, I am buying more. LOL

I'm not a runner, and did not buy these that purpose. They were recommend to me by a relative, so I purchased a pair because she stated how comfortable they are for her. I have had several foot surgeries over the years, one of which was having joints fused. Wearing a comfortable pair of shoes is important to me for this reason. I'm entirely pleased with this purchase.
