  • Great Product and Superb Customer Service
Bought product to help 65-year-old to get back in shape. The product arrived promptly. In addition to the printed instructions, I found a Youtube video for assembly. Seeing someone build the product made the process so simple. The only issue was a missing plastic tube bushing. I called customer service and spoke to a very helpful person. All I had to do was give them the part number and they mailed out the missing part via priority mail which arrived in 3 days. I've bought hundreds of products from Amazon over the years, and this is the only review I've ever written. I felt the company's customer service was exceptional and they should be recognized. ... show more

  • Love Valor Fitness
The media could not be loaded. When I moved a few years ago I was heartbroken because I had to get rid of my power rack ( also from Valor Fitness). My new basement has only a 72” clearance. So it’s hard to find a decent “short” power rack. Most of them are garbage or overpriced. I saw the BF-47 and found a life hack. I can do my bench press’s without a spotter now without a power rack. Sold steel construction I expected nothing less from valor fitness. I do have some hang up though. The nuts and bolts were not marked. Making assembly take twice as long. Do yourselves a favor and mark it yourself before assembly. The foam grips remind me of bodylastics old grips before they improved their handles. I just used a little electrical tape to remedy this. But small potato’s now that it’s finished I’m 100% impressed! I highly recommend this for any home gym with a low ceiling. First choice would be a power rack if you have the headroom. ... show more

  • I love it!
I work out daily and I needed a way to bench that did not require a spotter. This gym was not difficult to assemble. Take your time and follow the instructions step-by-step, and pay attention to the hardware needed for each step. I was done with the assembly in less than an hour. Very sturdy set up and the upward motion is smooth and allows for a noticeable flex of the pectoral muscles. I was somewhat skeptical given the price, but it's great. It also takes up very little room, which is great for a piece of home gym equipment. Don't pay attention to the negative reviews. If what I described seems like what you're looking for, go for it.... ... show more

  • Pleasantly suprised
As with most large orders that are bulky and heavy. This one arrived with the box pretty messed up from shipping. The packaging inside was bubble wrapped everywhere. This was a very good thing. In short we have a few scratches on the unit but nothing earth shattering. The unit itself is fantastic, it was easy to put together. I opted for the large sleeves for the Olympic weights. This is a solid piece and it works very well. Do not hesitate to buy. ... show more

  • Great bench for the money
Easy to assemble, smaller design takes up less space than a traditional bench and very smooth. Well worth the money.

  • Valor Fitness BF-47 Adjustable Bench - I don't like...
I don't like doing reviews in this way and I see them all the time on AMAZON. What I mean is that I feel a review should be based solely on the product itself. Taking starts away for your mood, customer service or anything else detracts from the item that is being reviewed. In this particular instance I am going a little against my own advice while trying to be true to the item. This was my experience: 1. The box came damaged. 2. The converging arms spindles were not machined at all and the bearings would not fit on them. 3. A weld was not welded properly. 4. Items were missing. 5. Instructions as with most of these is not good. If I could have built it I probably could have done so without just by using the picture as a guide. NOW... the item or product not withstanding itself would probably be decent especially at the price point of $254.00 when compared to others that either do the same or less at 2 or 3 times that price. As others mention this does not seem to be a unit that can handle much above what it states (250lbs total?) As with other machines I can think of a bunch of other things to make them better or worse for that matter. I can see for example on this there is an incline bench capability but it is only 1 single incline with no adjustments for higher or lower. A capability or addition to do over head presses would certainly not be out of the question on a machine like this or to much to ask for and perhaps they can be done on this machine but apparently not without some hassle. Manufacturers should always try and give more bang for the buck and they certainly would sell more as a result. The parts on this undoubtedly must be made in China and the quality control needs obvious improvement. I may endeavor to try this again but for now like i said if your one of the lucky ones that gets the item without all the issues I experienced then this might be a decent addition to your gym setup. I will give it 3 stars because I think that's what the machine is worth. It it had the improvements mentioned I might give it 4 or 5. If I used my emotions and disappointment in the way it was received I would as others often do have given this 1 star or less. I will say AMAZON c/s was pretty good. ... show more

  • This will build your Chest...
I wana try to help clear up any confusion or concerns with this bench. I am a former competitive bodybuilder, and have worked out in many gyms all over the United States ( and even few outside the U.S.) I would like to think that I know good equipment from bad, with that said, my review is as follows : Valor BF-47 is a wonderful bench. It absolutely does the job well. I find it very well designed and made from quality materials. It has given me many a wonderful workout, I find it very capable of any demands that I can put upon it. The incline feature is an added plus in that it allows me to stimulate the chest from another angle. Also, with the angled arms, it allows for the medial movement to properly contract the fan shaped chest muscles. You start wide and end the movement with the hands close together. Wonderful piece of equipment. ... show more

  • Outstanding piece of equipment
I needed something to work my chest without need for a spotter. Dumbbells are too difficult to lift heavy (positioning, etc.). This lever bench absolutely attacked my chest after my first workout without really pushing it too hard. BTW, I'm 6'3" and have no trouble with full range of motion. The assembly instructions stink but the Youtube video is excellent. Assembly took less than an hour. ... show more
