This is just perfect for what I needed. I wanted to divide my basement laundry room and it really is long enough to do that. It was easy to put up as well. We did have to find a different way to secure this so it doesn't fall down with curtains on it and had to find something to support the center to prevent the rod from bowing. Thankfully it was an easy fix on our end, but the supportive pieces that come with the rod weren't as effective as I'd have liked. I didn't think this item work for me. I was worried about it coming up short on the length even though I measured it. When item arrived it's just as pictured. It does have a slight weight to it. But the length is adjustable which makes it perfect. After tinkering with it I found the perfect length. It works great, as I'm using it in a bedroom as a divider. It's holding up well, great item for the price. The only issue I have is that the metal loop of the curtain gets stuck at the round little knob that protrudes from the adjustment bar.
