I received this vacuum sealer yesterday and have already used it to seal ribeye steaks. Although I can’t tell you about longevity I can tell you it worked very well. It has a solid feel to it and plenty of vacuum power. It is easy to use and the double seal is awesome. The customer service also seems wonderful. Amy from support contacted me to see if I was happy with my purchase. It’s very rare to get good customers service nowadays. I am happy with my purchase and recommend this product to anyone looking for a vacuum sealer.

Bought to bring to Baja for bagging filleted fish fresh for the cooler - I ran it off the 400w power source in the bed of my truck. Worked perfectly, even in a camping environment. Suction is strong, the double seal function is nice but even the single-seal is liquid-tight and solid. I felt very confident offroading for 2 days with fish in the cooler, keeping it fresh and separate from the rest of our food! I registered the 5 year warranty and got a string of personal and helpful emails from Amy at Gasbye, their customer service seems to be top-notch. Very impressed overall with this product. Small, lighweight, and rugged enough for camping and outdoor use but I bet will get a lot of use in the home kitchen as well. I used it to seal some nuts I had air drying in the kitchen upon returning home and it removed so much air they feel like a brick!

I usually don't do many reviews, but I will on this product. We had our old vacuum seal decided not to do anything one day. Which was okay, great anyway. Wasn't that great anyway. Went shopping, found nothing we wanted, so we looked on Amazon, so many, so expensive. Found this Gasbye and had everything we wanted, and at a reasonable price. We started using it right away. Easy to set up. Easy to seal. Love the double seal, and the vacuum is a lot better than what we had. Large or small works great. I want to mention a 5-year warranty and a SPECIAL THANK YOU to AMY at customer support for so many tips and the warranty. Very Happy.

This is an amazing product. It is so easy to use and does a terrific job. It’s very user friendly! All of its many functions are very easy to do and the options are great. There are so many. Have only used this item for less than a week, but initial impressions are positive. The vacuum is quick and thorough. The double seal capability is handy. The bag storage and bag cutter works very well. The reasons I didn't give it 5 stars are the distance from the vacuum tray to the sealing wires creates about 3" of bag above the seal and I haven't used the sealer enough to warrant 5 stars. I recommend this unit and would buy it again.

The Gasbye Vacuum Sealer Machine is quite functional, easy to use and the resultant sealings I have performed since my recent purchase of this unit have been perfect! The seller has gone the extra mile for their customers and all that one might need to know to get started using the Gasbye Vacuum Sealer is contained within the original packaging. There is a very well thought out Owners Manual that comes with the unit and this has complete and easily understood instructions! Further, the seller also includes clear photos of the steps necessary to properly use the Vacuum Sealer and this is supplemented with some photos that are marked as the way NOT to perform some of the steps in vacuum sealing which helps with understanding!

Almost perfect machine. Seals perfectly. Love the double seal and manual vacuuming features. 5 year warranty - whoever heard of such a thing in this era of products that barely last a few months? Fast, friendly response to suggestions for improvement, of which I have only one: Add a detent midway so that when the handle is pushed downward it first stops at a latch point to secure the top for transport, but not far enough to compress the gaskets. A further press downward on the handle compresses the gaskets and makes it ready for vacuuming/sealing. This makes it much easier to stow the cord and move the unit with one hand using the handle.
