  • Well made!
High-quality and very sturdy. Put it on my brand new Bergara Woodland 300 win. I highly recommend this product.

  • Heavy and stable!
It is much better than I have expected! It is solidly built. Very heavy and stable. Multiple angles adjustable including the left and right tilt! It is just what I need! Very easy to install and adjust. It works on either traditional hunting rifles or rifles with tactical rails. Great quality and value! How to install: If this is your first time, then the bipod has jaws if your firearm has a sling stab for this bipod. Take a look at the rail adapter for the piece you should look for. If you do not have this sling stab and only have a bare rail, then you can use the included adapter to attach the bipod to the rail adapter. The bipod comes with a 'hose piece' placed between the jaws, and the only way to remove it is to loosen the big screw on the bottom to allow the jaws to move forward to get the hose off. If you have the bipod adapter, then just get the jaws in between the holes and tighten. If not, use the adapter, and then rail mounts it. What's great? Apparently, it is $250 less than an Atlas. It just works well and has no functional problems to speak of at all to date. It has an amazingly broad and stable stance. The legs are 4 inches apart at top of the bipod. it is the right bipod to handle the recoil of a heavy rifle. There is almost no back-n-forth play. Leveling your rifle is easy. The legs extend in 8 steps and are easy to adjust on uneven ground. ... show more

  • F class style bipod - know what you're getting
Pros: 1. Heavy duty - legs are very strong 2. You can comfortably load this bipod 3. Relatively inexpensive 4. aesthetics are quite pleasing, finished very well 5. legs have a lot of adjustment, and easy to adjust 6. Wide legs, just by nature it is more stable than narrow legged bipods. Cons 1. Big and heavy. These are meant for long range shooting and competition 2. Due to weight, not recommended for hunting rifles 3. A bit stiff when new, will break in My guess is it's based on the LRA bipod which costs hundreds, BUT this bipod is actually very different from the old LRAs and is extremely sturdy, well made. Deserves a try. Update: I've used this on a .224 Valkyrie and .308 Win. Both recoil harder than .223/556 yet it's been great. I don't suggest using that included picatinny adapter, because it rattles a bit when mounted and I don't trust it, instead just mount the bipod on an average stud and call it a day. If you need to mount to Mlok, Arca, or picatinny, there are separate and better mounting pieces you can find. Review updated to reflect this. ... show more

  • Sitting on a Ruger LRR in .300 PRC
Mounted this to a Ruger LRR in .300 PRC and it's pretty solid. It's big and clunky but does the job.

  • Budget price and budget build
Do not use for heavy caliber or physically heavy rifles or airguns. It won't last. I had to deburr the sliding legs and leg locks to get a bipod that works but it still relies on a very small diameter steel pins (Harris style sling stud mount except that Harris uses beefy lockup pins) for mounting on your gun's sling front sling stud. The cant adjustment is a silly design and has a ton of play. If you can live with these faults and don't mind cleaning up the burrs that interfere with its operation, then it's a 'not bad for the money' light duty bipod. Personally, I will not buy another one. ... show more

Perfect. Very steady. First outing Shot out to -1200 yards. Why spend $300 for an Atlas. This is a’Must” buy for a Long Range Shooter
