I already had a mattress cover, but I got this because I was suddenly being plagued by bed bugs. As you may have guessed, I am free!! I hope the bugs' last moments, trapped with this encasement, were miserable. It's also definitely comfier than the mattress cover. (My bed works like this: mattress, mattress cover (too lazy to take it off), mattress encasement, fitted sheet.) I did laundry (of all my sheets, bedding, etc.) the same day I put it on. (I think the bites stopped as soon as I put it on, but I waited until now to be sure that the infestation stopped.) I have yet to spill anything on my bed, so I can't say if it's leak free.

Our mattress is NOT a split mattress. The cover went on easier than I expected. Seems like a decent quality. Not plastic-y like I was concerned about. Only had it a day and slept on it once so far but it wasn’t noisy and didn’t make us sweat. We didn’t launder it first and I wish I would have. It may have made it fit a little more snuggly and fewer wrinkles. I can’t speak to the waterproof feature since I haven’t tested that. I’m satisfied.

Purchased 4 of these for our 6 in twin size bunk bed mattresses. Love how they are soft and not plastic like. Seems like they will be a great protector for the mattresses. Seem like they are breathable and won't make the kids sweat too much. We will see how durable they are over the next few months.

My dad's assisted living facility requires both the mattress and box spring of this bed to be covered with linens such as these. He's kind of spoiled because he has a huge apartment and was still able to bring his king size bed so we bought two! So far no complaints! We had already purchased this brand for our home to protect our mattress from the dogs and they are great!

These covers are amazing! I can’t attest to how they work keeping out bed bugs, mites, etc…but the quality is fantastic. I bought them as a precaution and I spent hours researching mattress encasements until I came across this one. First of all they are so soft on the outside they feel like a sheet and not like a cover at all! They are super snug once on which is why it looks and feels like a fitted sheet. I truly can’t believe it. They slid very easily over the mattress and box spring due to the fact that one end of the cover has a sizable zipper which makes it easy if the mattress is standing up. The zipper has a nice Velcro cover. They didn’t make a single sound when I was sleeping like others I have used in the past nor did they make it hot. And again, I still cannot believe how soft they are. Inside is like a plastic material but outside it felt no different than a sheet on your bed. Fantastic! I bought 4, two for each mattress and box spring for less than $100. For the price I am blown away by the quality. Hopefully they will also work in keeping critters out of my bed. I live in an apartment building in the city so it’s always been a fear of mine. Time will tell I guess. As long as they sell these I will buy them. Buy them too. You won’t be disappointed in terms of comfort at the very least.
