  • Time needed to evaluate at Range putting rounds down range.
So far so good, seems to quality product. Will have more after some range time. 7/5/18 Great range day. Wonderful product. Difficult to get use to going from an under rail mount, one direction, either up or down only bipod. But once it is setup and you get arranged into a lower and , MUCH more stable lower position, only thing that might be better is someone doing it for you. But no fun in that. Once comfortable and set easily made my 300 yard zero and 600 yard zero settings with minimal adjustments. Will be using it for a Tactical competition next weekend and hope to update this to keep you informed. Well with the money over the cost of an Sinclair F-Class Competition bipod. 8/2/18 One comment is the bipod is a wonderful addition and is as evaluated, it would be nice to have the addition of a set of spike feet for ground that the rubber feet did not suit. Only con or negative I could find, nit picking. Much better than a under forearm mount bipod. Thank You ... show more

  • Clever design at a clever price!
Very clever design. Love that the legs fold up along the sides of the hand guard. There is a little bit of wiggle fore and aft with the legs locked in position, but nothing excessive. The legs extend out very easily and lock in place very securely. All the parts are aluminum and feel quite sturdy (save for the rubber feet and steel mounting hardware obviously). Clamps down nice and tight in the M-LOK slots. Overall, very happy with the product. Mounted on my 6.5 Grendel upper. Will update after it's got a few hundred rounds down range. ... show more

  • UTG DELIVERED AGAIN
Decided to try the Recon m-lok version on my Magpul Hunter 700 stock. The install was easy and the design of the mounting surface and pivot point fit the forend of the stock perfectly. I sware this bipod was made with the Magpul stock in mind. The height of the bipod is perfect for me, keeps the bore axis low with a wide stance for stability. The bottom of the forend stays clear if you want to use a bag rest. The legs will swing backwards to provide a nice hand stop for offhand shooting. Overall the bipod is very well built and rigid enough to "load" the legs without a bunch of flex or skidding. I'd say UTG hit this nail on the head at 1/3 the cost of comparable units. ... show more

  • Great for coyote rifle
Excellent bipod for the Money. Out of the box they were just a bit stiff but once on the rifle I couldn’t even tell. The legs are easily deployed with the ability to set the height in between notches. I would definitely buy these again for another build.

  • $50 idea; $20 execution
Turns out the Chinese are way better at copying American designs than designing their own stuff. The IDEA behind this product is great. The execution was awful. My $16 CVLIFE Harris knockoff even has spring legs, yet this one does not. At full extension, the bipod is more wobbly than Rosie O'DOnnell on one leg after 3 drinks. Avoid this bipod unless they improve it. Oh, and I ordered two just to be sure I didn't get a dud. Both sucked equally. ... show more

  • Decent Bipod
Mounted this bipod on a Ruger Precision Rimfire rifle and especially like how compact it is when folded as opposed to the undermount bipods. I've seen a couple of comments online about the mounting screws being long enough to contact the barrel, that wasn't the case with my rifle but might require some grinding with a larger diameter aftermarket barrel. A couple of notes on the M-Lok installation instructions, UTG gives the Allen wrench size as 3/32", it's not. The correct size is 1/8", at least on the bipod I received. The instructions also give 35 pounds as the torque value for the screws without specifying inch/lbs or foot/lbs. They should have specified it's 35 inch/pounds. Other than the glitches in their instructions, installation was easy, especially if you're familiar with M-Lok accessories. ... show more

  • Not made in USA but good little Bi-pod
This Bi-pod went on a Anderson Manufacturing forward M-LOK rail. First the bad. It's made in China. I didn't know that, my bad or I wouldn't have bought it. That being said, unfortunately it is well made and a very well thought out design by UTG. I like the five positions this affords the user along with all the height adjustments makes for a versatile Bi-pod. It does not swivel, it does not cant. This I DID know ahead of time. The legs can be shortened/lengthened according to the terrain which is good enough for me. ALL Bi-pods should be able to swing the legs completely forward or backward out of the way, this one does, which I find very convenient. The locking nobs work very well without having to twist and spin spin spin to lock them down... very quick. Fit and finish is great and the M-LOK system is exactly perfect and takes it's usual few minutes to attach or detach. THE MOST IMPORTANT THING is that the Bi-pod DOES fit attached to my rifle in my AR-15 case. It does not have to be removed. It may not fit into an ordinary rifle case. All in all I'm happy with the Bi-pod and wish it was made here in the states. Update. Still using this bi-pod. It's held up well. Most of the negative comments I read are user issues like stripping screws and breaking Allen wrenches, those are user mistakes. And one reviewer said the bi-pod needs to be mounted all the way forward on the m-lok. Not true. It can be mounted anywhere on the m-lok EXCEPT all the way forward. Doing that will result in the compensator spitting flame at the rubber feet on the bi-pod. So that's an installation error as well. The height of the item in my view is perfect. With the adjustments available and the fact that it will lock at 45 degrees forward very quickly instead of 90 degrees or including 90 degrees makes this very versatile. In a battle situation, that would be a across a field or from building to building you want quick acting, multi height and multi position. And this bi-pod provides just exactly that. ... show more

  • Great product at any price point.
I rarely voluntarily make a review without being asked. This is the exception. I hate paying huge money for any type of bipod system but have done so in the past. These seemed to be to simple and to cheap to be any good. Tried them anyway and man was I ever wrong. Mounted them on my M-Lok system on my AR. Awesome product for the money! Goes on easy. Very stable with a clean look. Adjustments are straight forward and solid. ... show more
