I was skeptical when the box arrived because it looked too small to have the bases and shades but to my surprise you have to assemble the shades. Assembly is super easy and the quality is excellent. I love the touch button feature for turning off and on. They look fabulous. I am very pleased.

I used these for my living room. They're awesome! The quality seems really good, so far. They look really nice, not cheap. I love the moon & star cut-outs! You DO need to put them together, though. And, by that, I mean you attach the shades to two hoops that have textured surfaces, kind of like Velcro. You also screw on the sockets to the lamp bases. It only took me about 20 minutes to unpack and assemble the pair, so they're simple to put together. I swapped out the included LED light bulbs for a couple just a little brighter though, as these are my main light source. The bases make perfect nightlights when you don't want to turn the bulbs on and have three brightness settings. Great mood lighting, too! Each base has a USB port to charge electronics -- super convenient! I like that they came in a pair, also. The best part was the price! Great value for 2 lamps. These lamps are beautiful & the assembly was simple. I did receive lamps in which the ceramic base was a light brown color. I ended up liking the color better anyway, but the picture & what I was expecting was white!

I didn’t know that I had to assemble the lamp SHADES! It took me half an hour to roll one on the ring! And it doesn’t look right, it’s kind of crooked because you need to align both rings, top and bottom parallel with the fabric which is impossible. I’m keeping them just for the fact that I put so much work on them that I don’t want to take them apart. Anyways, if you’re a perfectionist and want normal lamps buy something else. ... show more
