Everything worked just great. Instructions are buried inside the USB that looks like a credit card it actually rotates and then your little piece can slide into your computer. It does work on Windows 11. I had ChatGPT help me set it up before we even found the instructions ,cable has the chip in it. Computer recognized it without any issue put on a 2002 Evinrude 225 Ficht Ram,the year before they turned E tech.     • Yes it has a USB stick.
Didn't know what the credit card looking thing was, It's a flip out USB stick. Once I got the USB plugged into laptop I was able to find a video file labeled instructions this helped since no instruction in any form was in the box. Copying software files from USB stick to my windows 10.5 laptop was a breeze. Changing settings on the communication cable was tricky, it has to be plugged in to see it under devises. All in all this was a great experience, especially for being the lowest cost kit on the internet. Note: I bought this software for one reason to clear codes on my evinrude fitch 225 POS so I can sell it, and it clears them as many times as you want. ... show more

Just have to open the file and follow the instructions. I know many have said that there are none. Use one usb cord to ur computer and then insert the chip the proper way. Open the file and download.
