This is the third USB 3.0 port I've purchased and it works well, but does have some limitations. It does have a HDMI port, (Which works fine), one of my other hubs does not, and I have to swap plugs around whenever I want to use it, so this is a very nice feature to have. However, both my other USB C hubs have more than one USB 3 port (these are the fast ports), this one only has a single one which can be limiting. Last, there's no USB C port that allows you to changer your device while the hub is plugged in. This hub does NOT have that port, so you'll be removing it to charge your device. i wanted to use this as a charging hub. charge the phone, connect mouse and kb, and a tv, maybe an sd card, too. it has a hole that looks like a usb-c input, but it is just a hole. i blame amazon for this bc i specifically put "charging usb-c hub" on the search line. this is one of many that popped up. it should not have been there at all unless the seller misrepresented it to amazon ... show more

    • Starts well but degrades quickly
I loved this thing when first using. It’s been about six months and it’s hardly usable. The USB devices usually work. They’ve only disconnected a few times. However, the HDMI link rarely works. It requires twisting and squeezing the device into the perfect angle is achieved. Even then, with no physical adjustment, the picture will still flake out. This started as a great device. literally typing this on my laptop while this thing is connected to my keyboard's bluetooth because it just stopped working 6 weeks after purchase. too late to return now DON'T BUY, what a rip off! the hdmi piece is especially useless, if plugged into a monitor, not only will the monitor not connect (there's a clear attempt as the screen's lights change color, but then my computer's screen also goes black! This is legitimate trash. I hope I'm able to get a refund from the seller, otherwise i won't change my rating. ... show more

With new Type C ports you need dongle/connector hub for every device. This device is small enough and serve purpose for 90% of people. Its comes with 1 HDMi & 2 USB , 1 SD Card & 1 Micros Sd card ports. I mostly use this for my meetings in office where I need to connect either TV or Projector through HDMI port. This not comes with another Type C so you can't charge with this. But this is small hub and serve its purpose. ... show more

I couldn't get it to work with Dex on my Samsung S10+ like others have, it would only do screen mirroring. My other device that cost a bit more was working so I just ordered another of those and gave this to a friend for his laptop.
