    • Solid Sensor Addition to the AC Infinity Ecosystem
I received this through the Amazon Vine program for the purposes of reviewing. I got this to use with my grow system. I am using an auto-watering system in my grow tent with an external reservoir. This sensor simply detects the presence of water, for my purposes to let me know when my reservoir is nearly empty. The sensor can be used for more advanced features as well, like automations (i.e. turning on/off a pump). To be clear, this sensor only works with the AI Controller and is not supported by any other models at this time. It also does not use the standard UIS ports, but rather one of the two sensor ports on the AI controller. This is important to note because currently it is a limitation if you are using any of the other AI controller sensors like temp/humidity, CO2, moisture sensor, etc. Currently, you can only use two of the listed sensors at a time. Hopefully, there is a firmware update or sensor dongle coming to allow more than any two sensors being connected at a time. I think it is reasonably priced, and if you are already using the AC Infinity AI controller, then this is another great addition to the AC Infinity ecosystem. At the risk of sounding like a shill for AC Infinity, I think they are one of the best grow equipment manufacturers out there. Their software and hardware integration is the best I have used by far. This sensor is a great addition to the AI controller setup. The sensor is quick and easy to install, and it is convenient that is can be mounted with magnets or via suction cup. It is a convenient design that makes it easy to monitor water level to control automated watering or know if too much water is being added (depending on how you are using it). I'm running autopots w/ a 25 gallon resirvoir and have concerns about leacks, so I figured this would do the trick. I haven't quite figured out how to really make this work yet, but it was easy to install. It comes with a magnet to help hold it in place, but I really just need it to sit on the floor of my tent and alert me if there's a flood. ... show more

AC Infinity is my go to since I switched everything to the AI Controller, and for good reason, The quality is OUTSTANDING ! This sensor detects water, or the absence thereof, and I am using it for the latter. Floods aren't an issue for me since I have a runoff to outside, but a dry nutrient tank ?? !! That is a problem. I have a 30 gallon reservoir, and it's easy to forget to fill it, but with this sensor, and your smartphone it's no problem. It does require use of a sensor port on the AI Controller, so keep that in mind if running other sensors. It's design, and quality are top rate as always with AC Infinity, so you can buy this with confidence, and I can recommend it as well. It only works with the AI Controller platform so make sure your system is compatible. As with everything from AC Infinity this sensor is a bargain, and worth it's weight in gold. ... show more

Very nice moisture sensor with alarm. Simply plug in and set it where you don't want water but need an alarm if there is. Small design and durable and non corrosive materials.

    • works well as part of AC Infinity AI setup
We are working on a hydroponic garden greenhouse setup, and so of course water is the key. This sensor pairs with our AC Infinity AI controller to help us monitor water levels. It's really nice because with the controller, we can get real-time information from anywhere. Very handy for when we are away from home so we don't have to worry or have someone checking in on things. My husband works in control systems, and he thinks that the AC Infinity system is the best of the best. He's good at this stuff, but honestly, I think it's pretty intuitive and anyone can do it. The sensor seems to work well, we have no issues so far. Might need to buy a couple more of them as we expand our setup. ... show more

    • Works great if you have the equipment
I got this to integrate into my UIS system. I wasn't fully aware of how it worked exactly. What this can be as it can detect water or can detect no water so I can do a couple of different things when plugged into a UIS controller. One thing you can do is turn water off if you have something that runs water like maybe a pump or something like that unfortunately, the way my pump system works. It's not compatible with the system. But what this does do well for just let me know if my reservoirs overflow. ... show more
