I got this paddle as a gift for my nephew and he really liked it. He and my son play pickle ball every weekend, this is his go to paddle. It’s a good every day paddle that you can use at pretty much any skill level. I did play with it one weekend so I can talk a little bit about the performance.. The handle has a silky soft grip that’s easy to hold and doesn’t get sweaty. The carbon fiber surface itself has a gritty texture, allowing you more control over your serves and to put some spin on the ball. It’s lightweight design allows you to really put a smash on the ball, but it’s still heavy enough to feel comfortable with back hands. While it’s not edgeless, the ridge around the edge of the paddle is not so intrusive as to cause a misfire. In a nutshell, this is an affordable pickleball paddle appropriate for beginners to intermediate players, and offers a nice every day paddle to keep in your car for impromptu games. Makes a great gift.
