I got this because I thought that it would be an interesting coin to have and we have the 250th anniversary coming up for the United States. The case it came in was very much like a jewelry case but did seem to be of decent quality. I thought it presented very nicely upon a first impression. The presentation and the fact that it had a protective case around the coin itself gave a great first impression and it was actually much prettier in person than it looked like online. I think that this could make a really good gift for anyone who's a coin collector who just likes patriotic merchandise and the presentation of it also makes it perfect for that. It seemed like it was pretty good quality and a good value for the price overall, but it did appear that there was a little bit of flaking upon looking at it closer. Due to this I didn't want to possibly damage it and decided to not take it out of the case to make sure it would not get dinged or start to flake further. Still for the price I still think it is a good value.

This is for item B0GKY9C14N: USA 250th Anniversary Commemorative Coin/$11.98 When I first opened the box, I thought the coin was printed on paper it looked so flat. But after getting closer and under the right light at an angle, you can see the imprint of basic design on the coin, and then how the printed on colors fill in the design. It came in a box inside a plastic case. It weighs 0.85 oz. (24 g) and measures at a 1.56 in. (39.8 mm) diameter and 0.1 in. (2.7 mm) thickness. The front of the coin, with the 250 centered, has "United States of America" around the top of the design. The back shows "America" in the banner below the eagle and I am disappointed that that it did not have "United States of" included. America is both North and South America, and not everyone in this hemisphere is celebrating the milestone. The rim is dented or nicked in places that indicate to me the alloy is softer than some other coins. It is a bit larger than an old dollar coin and somewhat lighter in weight. I would not use this to slap on a bar top when challenge coins come out or use for flipping over any place hard as the design will wear off over time. It is an okay printed on design with some drawbacks already noted.

This is a beautiful celebration of the birthday of our nation that you can carry around in your pocket. I've gotten a number of these "challenge coin" style of coins from Amazon, and this one is very nicely presented, with a black jewelry-style box that holds the coin for display inside a small clear plastic holder. The coin is hefty and very well done. The one thing I'll point out is that the picture of the coin is somewhat misleading. It seems to show the back side of the coin as a very shiny base with just a few areas that are painted, but the reality is that the entire back is painted, so the "shine" that you see is the painted image. The only part on the back that actually shines of polished metal is the wording and the little arc of stars across the top. That said, it's still a very nice reminder of the history of our nation that you will be proud to show off to others.

I like the look of this coin but I worry about the quality of the paint. There are multiple noticeable flakes that have come off the coin and that is without having ever taken it out of its case. The weight of the coin feels nice in your hand. The box that it comes with is a quality box that I am happy to display on my shelf. I think this is a good piece of memorabilia to go with the occasion but not sure the quality is on par with better options.

This is a very nice Commemorative coin for the 250th Anniversary of the USA. It comes in a nice case and has a protective case over the coin itself. The coin is a silver type with what seems to be paint on both sides. It has the date 1776 to 2026 on one side with 250 years of freedom and United States of America with an eagle and flag on either side and the White House on the bottom. On the other side is a Christian flag showing we were originally born with Christian values in this country with an eagle on the left hand side, the Liberty Bell on the bottom, the Statue of Liberty on the right, with the American flag in the background. This is quite a nice piece that I would keep in the case and even the case has decorations on the inside as well as the outside. This will most likely be a collector's piece someday. It is worth the money being asked. I feel like it's a good value. -I am reviewing this as an Amazon Vine participant. I collect challenge coins and patriotic coins, so I picked this up to add to my collection for the upcoming 250th anniversary of the United States. Honestly, for the price, it’s a really cool piece. The design looks great with the eagle and patriotic details, and the finish is better than I expected for something this inexpensive. It’s not a super high-end coin, but that’s not what I was looking for. It’s a nice commemorative piece and a great conversation starter when people see it in my collection. If you like challenge coins or American memorabilia, this is definitely worth grabbing—especially since it’s pretty cheap. Glad I added it to my collection.
