My application was in the lower grill, just above the front bumper of a 2009 Tacoma, the cooling fins of the light are spaced just right to fit into the grill with a little force. Mounting from that point was slightly tricky, cut and drilled aluminum L channel was my friend as well as a right angle drill. These lights so far are great. They fit quite flush to the mounting surface. Came with all needed mounting hardware. Very bright for their size. I have had similar light pods in the past and I wouldn’t say they were quite as bright as this one. Great value!
