UPDATE: 08-26-2022 Thankfully, a lot of my initial horror story with this was dealt with amazingly well. They were able to ship a new treadmill over within days, and I have been using it for the past two weeks. While the customer service has been absolutely wonderful, the same unfortunately cannot be said about the treadmill, and I will be forced to return the item. The treadmill's design has an odd characteristic that even as much as I try to lower the back side of the machine, while raising the two more forward feet as high as I can (to the point where I am at risk of the feet actually falling off during use), the treadmill still has a slight decline. Initially, I thought a downhill angle was a positive benefit to the item, after running on it for a few times and researching online, apparently downhill running can inexplicably cause more severe leg pain, and that is what I have been experiencing. Additionally, if you are like my sister, and on the shorter side (she is 5'0", someone who is a target buyer of the product, as it is a compact machine), the bar unfortunately rests at a height that is too high, causing her to constantly smack it with her hands while running, leaving her with bruises. Again, the 5 stars is for the customer service, which has been excellent, once they were made aware of the issue, but the machine has it's issues that we weren't able to notice until we got the new machine and actually actually able to use it. These treadmills go through very short refresh cycles, and I'm sure that a future machine could hopefully fix these problems, at which point, we would be more than happy to purchase then. ---------- ORIGINAL REVIEW ----------- Like many people wanting to get fit from all the pandemic pounds, but not wanting to risk going to a public gym, I purchased this treadmill. What initially drew me to this exact model was the fact that it was compact enough to fit in my small home, had an attachable table, and a more powerful motor that could go up to 8.6mph (not that I can consistently run at that speed, it's just good to know that the motor is strong enough to reach those speeds, meaning I can use it at a slightly lower speeds without fear of burning out the motor, as I intended to use this machine on a regular basis). I was so sold on the design and what I was going to use it for, that I purchased it with the additional 2 year warranty, paying nearly $550. The order arrived to my home surprisingly quick, and as you can see from the photo, despite it weighing nearly 90 pounds, the treadmill was packed very securely, and the box had minimal damage other than some scrapes expected from shipping. However, once I carefully unboxed the treadmill, set it on the floor, plugged it in (and flipped the power supply switch on the machine itself), I was surprised to find that nothing was happening. As I inspected the treadmill, I eventually was horrified to find out that the cable which runs from the motor to the controls/display along the right side of the handlebar has been completely severed, rendering the whole thing completely useless (seen in the photo attached). There is no possible way that the process of opening the box or unwrapping the item could have cut the cable, as it is located about an inch from the edge of the packaging; it was packed into the box with the cable already cut. I tried to reach out to Amazon to get a replacement or a refund, but was told that since this item is sold and shipped by a third party, they cannot do anything, and I would have to contact the seller directly, but was told that the seller may offer a prepaid shipping label. I do not have a vehicle to put this giant 90 pound box into, so the item would have to be picked up, which could potentially have additional costs. I am putting this review out here to inform potential buyers that this item is NOT SOLD BY AMAZON and that should any issues arise, you are potentially at risk for paying more money on top of what you have spent for what should have been a perfectly functioning brand new item (especially if you do not have a vehicle that can hold a 5 by 3 foot 90 pound box). I eventually called Amazon Customer Care, who were able to also reach out to the seller in addition to my original message, and am waiting to hear back. I will provide further updates to my customer service experience with the original seller and Amazon as I hear more. ... show more

For $499, this treadmill is as good as any treadmill in a gym. It’s good because it doesn’t take up as much space in a room. I use this treadmill almost daily and so far I love it. It fairly quiet especially if you listen to music with noise canceling headphones or earbuds. I love that it includes the foldable stand and the remote. The con is that the remote doesn’t have a pause or stop button but overall I’m satisfied with my purchase! ... show more

    • Have had quite a journey with this treadmill, but very happy in the long run

I was hemming and hawing over half a dozen treadmills, when a flash deal came up that saved me $100 bucks on this one (which was on my list), so I pulled the trigger. I'm really glad I did, because now that I've used it for several months, I'd gladly have paid full price. Having said that, there are some CONS, but one of the PROS was good customer service from the vendor when my first one stopped working — static electricity zaps from touching the arms while using it would cause the treadmill to stop suddenly (E07 error). After this happened a few times, it became impossible to clear the error. After a little back-and-forth with pictures & video, they sent a replacement, which has been fine — BUT I do still get static shocks from the arms sometimes (I wish they had a non-metal grip). As for actual use, this treadmill is fantastic, and it beats many other designs in a few key factors: • The arms are really solid, and the folding mechanism very smooth and intuitive • The removable tabletop with it's flip-up phone/tablet holder is a great feature, and really well designed (except for one thing in the CONS below) • Speeds from 0.6MPH to 8.6mph (most of these smaller treadmills don't go that high) OTHER PROS: • The controls are pretty clear and intuitive (although less so on the remote, which you need if you're using the tabletop) • It's fairly quiet (don't have to turn up the TV when using it, can be on the phone without a problem) • Easy to maneuver when folded, despite being quite heavy • Has several adjustments you can easily make to keep the belt aligned and tight And some CONS (most of which are minor): • That occasional static shock from the arms • The belt drifts to the right, even after adjusting — although this may just be because of the way I walk • It cannot be paused and has no memory, so if you need to dismount for a few minutes, you have to either leaving it running (skewing your time and distance stats) or stop it (losing your time and distance stats) • There's no drink holder, and... • The tabletop is VERY slick — so if you want to set down your TV remote, or a drink, or use your computer, you're going to want something rubbery to lay down first • The remote has about half the functionality of the main controls • If it were ½" shorter, it would fit under my couch... • But it's also ~90lbs, so sliding it in and out from under the couch wouldn't be easy anyway • Parts of the user manual are so badly translated that it's anyone's guess what it's supposed to say But as I said, most of those cons are minor and livable. I use this treadmill almost every day, I'm very happy with it, and would definitely recommend it. ... show more

The only difficult part of this was getting it out of the box. It was really packed well! It's not as loud as other treadmills. I was on a conference call today and no one knew I was walking. I didn't have video on but they didn't hear it. I think I had read where someone said it was hard to move it around. There are wheels in the front & a bar on the back that makes this really pretty easy to move. I thought that desk part would be higher but put a small plastic bin on top to raise my laptop up higher and it's all good. Overall I love it! ... show more
