🚀 Abunda's Overview

This is our summary and key points to consider based on customer reviews.

The Urevo 2.5 HP Treadmill receives high praise for its quiet operation and ease of use, being lauded as a game-changer for office and home workouts alike. Users appreciate features like the wide and long track pad, the convenience of not automatically shutting off, and the inclusion of track oil. Despite its benefits for productivity and energy levels during work, some concerns were noted regarding its heavyweight and cumbersome mobility, challenges in adjusting the track pad, and the inability to mute beeping noises.

Pros

  • 🔊 Very quiet, making it suitable for work calls and office environments.
  • 🚶 Wide and long track pad, offering more space for walking or jogging.
  • 🛠 Comes with track oil and easy-to-follow instructions for maintenance.
  • 🔄 Does not automatically shut off, allowing for brief step-aways without interruption.

Cons

  • 🏋️‍♂️ Heavy and difficult to move, even with wheels.
  • 🔧 Track pad adjustment can be tricky and nerve-wracking.
  • 🔇 No option to mute beeping noises, which can be a nuisance.

Should I Buy It?

If you're looking for a treadmill that is quiet, has a spacious walking area, and comes with convenient features for a better walking or jogging experience, the Urevo 2.5 HP Treadmill could be a great addition to your office or home. However, if you plan to frequently move it or have limited storage space, the unit's heavy and cumbersome nature might be a significant drawback. Weighing the pros against the cons, it seems well-suited for those who prioritize functionality and can accommodate its size and weight.

  • Game changer while working
My office finally approved for us to bring in a walking pad to the office to utlize with our standing desks. I did a fair bit of research and finally landed on the Urevo 2.5 HP Treadmill. I have been using it for several weeks now and I am quite pleased with my purchase. I spend 4 days/week walking for up to 4 hours a day and I am more productive and have more energy while working. PROs: 1. It is a quiet machine, not silent :) There is a slight whooshing sound with each step, but it is nothing too distracting and does not detract from working. I have been on several work calls while using and the sound is not noticiable at all. And if it is too loud, just walk slower! 2. It doesn't automatically turn off when you step off. This may be a con for some, but if I have to step off to go to the printer, I like that I don't disrupt the office with a bunch of beeps. 3. I like that it came with the track oil. The instructions were helpful in learning how to apply it. 4. Wide and long track pad. Some follks in my office purchased narrower ones and I have heard them express that they wished they had a bigger area to walk on. CONS: 1. Mobility - This is a HEAVY unit. Yes, there are wheels on it, but they don't help a lot. Don't imagine that you can easily slide it in and out from underneath something ESPECIALLY horizontally. Additionally, while the handle folds down, the unit base does not, so it takes up space for storage purposes. 2. Adjusting the track pad - it was a bit nerve wracking figuring out the sweet spot with adjusting the track pad. I am glad they provided the hex key, but it took several turns to get it to the right spot. 3. Applying the track oil. It would be nice if they provided a brush that can reach all the way to the middle of the pad, so that there is an even amount across the bottom. 4. Remote/ Noise - You cannot silence the beeping. It would be great if there was a mute button on the remote or a way to deactivate the beeping that comes with each button push. I understand a beep happening with the machine is turned off and on, but with each speed change...come on. ... show more

  • Exceeded my expectations.
Color: Black Size: One Size
I've never owned a treadmill. I noticed my daily steps were around 3000, which is not very good. I decided I should be doing at least 10,000 steps a day. After doing endless research, it looks like you either have to spend way too much money for a known good treadmill, or take a chance on the hundreds of cheaper treadmills in the 150-300 price range. After watching a hundred or so youtube reviews I took a chance on this brand, and after a week I am very happy with the purchase. It's a lot quieter than I expected, the only noise I head really is my own footsteps with a slight hum/rubbing noise of the tread itself. I'm finding I can walk and read just fine at 2mph, and when I'm watching movies I am fine at 3mph. I bumped it to 6mph and it's a good steady jog for me. I'm 5'11" and there is plenty of room for my feet, even jogging. It seems to be one of the wider treadmills on the market. It was very easy to unbox and set up. It was a bit heavier than I was expecting, it took some effort to get it downstairs to its final home. I'm not sure if this would fit under any of my couches. Even though they say there is no incline on this, I would say there is maybe a 1-2% incline on it, which is great for walking. I've put maybe 100k steps on it over the past week and its worked great. Very happy with it. I'll try and update this review after a year and see if it holds out. ... show more

  • Great little treadmill, perfect for ultra cold winters
Color: Black Size: One Size
I’ll try to info dump as much as I can for all the details: I bought this to use between my office standing desk and in my bedroom for tv watching. So far so good. I’ve had it for almost a month. I like the features the bar had to offer which made me choose it and I’m glad I did. The buttons are handy. I haven’t used it at my standing desk yet but it’s perfect for my room and fits under my bed if I want it out of the way. I took off one star because I feel like the belt slips a bit more than I like and the increase button is a bit too close to the 6mph button so I once went from .6 to 6mph very quickly which was a little scary. It’s not horrible by any means but I wasn’t expecting it. I only walk I don’t run—I’m not a runner by any means. The speed settings are perfect for me. I like that I can pause the workout too. I do think if you have a particularly wide stride, none of these little machines will work for you. I occasionally scrape the edge of the treadmill as I walk. It makes a loud beep when you push the buttons. It doesn’t bother me but it’s not discreet if you have an infant sleeping for example. I would say the treadmill is not very loud. It makes a reasonable amount of noise but it’s definitely a bit quieter than the older more advanced models I’ve walk on at the gym. A monkey could set this up it’s so easy. Just pull the bar up and use the screws to lock it into place. I carried it in its box from my entryway and up the stairs to my room which was wayyyy more of a workout than the set up (I’m like a ~150lb woman who doesn’t really exercise). It was just barely doable but I did it. As for the remote people, my Samsung dvd, my lg tv, and my Apple TV all have remotes and literally none of them connect to the treadmill. Just check first before you run and you’ll be fine. The remote that comes with the treadmill to run it is very basic but works fine for me. I prefer to use the buttons on the hand bar anyway. That’s all I got for now hope it helps ... show more
