I love the quality of this board and have found it to be excellent for what I needed it for - training muscle stabilizers. If you’re like me and never snowboarded, skateboarded, or surfed then this is going to be a challenge. Here’s some tips… 1. Do it for a period of time every day. This could be 10 or 15 minutes in the beginning. You need to do this repeatedly for it to stick. 2. Use soft flooring. I set mine up on a yoga mat over hardwood floors. The cushion under the roller will help it last longer and will also make it easier to learn in the beginning. 3. Practice in front of a wall. This would also be a door, a bookcase, etc. The idea is to reduce any anxiety around the effort, which is hard to get over at first when you’re in the middle of a room. This also lets you gently touch the wall at first while trying to learn your balance. 4. Be patient. You may have to touch the wall a lot at first but keep forcing your balance between your feet and concentrate on correcting balance whenever you shift too far to one side. You will have longer and longer periods between needing to touch the wall or going off balance. Eventually you won’t need the wall and will be able to balance for longer stretches of time. Honestly I didn’t expect this to be so much work to try to learn, so I am happy I started doing this as it has improved my balance and equilibrium, plus increased my ankle and core strength. And it’s easy to do, you just have to stand on it.

It's not easy to balance but with practice you can get use to it. It's easy to use and board feels pretty sturdy.

I bought this as a low-risk skateboard/surfing practice tool. I really love it, it has help me improve my balance and my ankle strength. The board and roller are really good quality, thick wood.

I've lost a lot of weight, but some areas on my body just won't drop the weight. I got this to help target those areas on my legs. I hesitated buying it only because of the price. After seeing some plus sized reviewers raving over this, I decided to jump on it. I'M SO GLAD I DID! I hopped on and almost died the first time. 🤣 Then after about a minute I started to get the hang of it. After about 15 minutes my legs were shaking like crazy haha. It's so much fun that I don't want to get off even when my legs give up. I find myself resting for a few minutes then jumping right back on! This will definitely be a permanent part of my daily workout routine. I haven't used it long enough to talk about the results, but I can feel the burn! I also saw some condescending reviews/ questions about just using a 2 liter bottle and a skateboard deck. I guess that works if you're 120lbs.... but for myself and my husband, I wouldn't trust that method. He's 250lbs and this holds up perfectly - no bending or anything! And as a bonus there is a lifetime warranty as long as you register it!

I really like this item. It works well and is great balance training. The board is a solid design that is great to use on carpet. Be careful of hard surfaces that could damage the board. My only issue is that there is a slight bump on the cylinder from the fabric edge being glued together. It is a slight annoyance to the experience and it is definitely a design issue that could be improved to make the product better. I have had the item for a month now, and I still use it daily. Great price and fairly good quality.

I waited a while to write a review, but it’s been a month of usage and I still find myself wanting to use this thing! It’s like a little “exercise snack” that I can take throughout the day. The whole family enjoys it as well!

I waited a month to write the review. Really good, sturdy, all the family enjoys it. Love it. Not so easy to control, a good challenge for the balance. We use it on a carpet, on marble runs like crazy. Outstanding craftsmanship , impossible to make your own without expensive materials.
