This cone is really sturdy and durable. The Velcro is strong and my dog has not been able to get it off. The only complaint is that he has been able to bend the fabric to try and get his head out. Once I adjust it tho it’s fine again.

**Product Review: Dog Cone** ⭐️⭐️ I recently purchased this dog cone for my furry friend, and unfortunately, it hasn't lived up to my expectations. While the cone serves its primary purpose, there are several drawbacks that make it less than ideal. First, the Velcro material attracts a lot of dog hair, which makes it a hassle to clean. No matter how much I try, the shedding seems to stick permanently, and removing the hair is quite the chore. Additionally, my dog tends to drool, and the inside of the cone becomes a messy challenge to clean. The drool collects and dries, making it difficult to maintain hygiene. Another issue is the plastic material on the the edges. My dog loves to sniff around during walks, and the plastic has developed noticeable bend marks, which is concerning for durability. Overall, I cannot recommend this dog cone based on my experience. While it may work for some, the hair, drool, and durability issues have made it a frustrating purchase for me. I would suggest looking for alternatives that are easier to clean and more durable.

Our dog is a beagle foxhound mix. That said, he’s got a long snout. He occasionally follows us around whether it’s to be with us or is food driven. With that comes those moments the dog turns around and hits the wall or human legs. This cone is designed very well; easy to put on, has a large grippy velcro unlike narrow strips that eventually need replacing and the black cushioned sections are soft ensuring a comfortable quiet time or sleep. This cone is a little longer than the Dogswell plastic cone we bought from Tractor Supply (which is also a great cone, but with snap tabs instead of velcro). This cone also has a reflective strip around the base of the plastic so another thumbs up for safety feature.

It was a perfect fit, but I measured her neck being prepared. Of all the cones, I will admit this one is one of the best I have seen for dogs. It is easy to put on and take off but it isn’t fool proof. The dog absolutely hated this foreign piece being attached to her. She would press up against just about anything trying to get it off. It held really well and eventually she succumbed to having it on. I really think it meses with her peripheral vision and some of those crashes into the walls and doors weren’t necessarily her trying to free herself from the contraption! It wasn’t nearly as bad flipped around, but that served no purpose. She looked like a unique beautiful flower with it on, but you could see it made her miserable. Be prepared to give lots of extra hugs and attention for more sensitive dogs!

If my dog was writing this review he would give it 1 star but seeing as I am the one who pays for his vet bills and I am keeping him from chewing an even bigger hole in his butt I'm gonna give it 5 stars. Easy to use, easy to clean and keeps his mouth where it belongs. He runs in to everything now and looks like he is truly wearing the cone of shame but... it works.
