I’ve been using the Doggy Do Good bags for a few years now and like them so much better than other brands for a few reasons. 1) Compostable/non-plastic! The other “green” brands are still selling plastic bags, with recycled cardboard roll-cores. 2) I love the smooth feel of the material & they’re very sturdy. 3) Large opening minimizes my chances of a mess. 4) Easy to open. Unlike a lot of the plastic bags on the market, the smooth material of these makes them really easy to open and use - proven great for winter walks with freezing hands and a need to be quick! Long story, these are great bags, very well made and you’re actually buying a green product and not contributing to single use plastic waste. Also, the company is living up to their name and doing good too, donating a portion of their proceeds to rescues, sanctuaries, & animal welfare organizations! Buy the bags :) ... show more

I love the roll and the box they come in. They’re not the strongest sturdiest plastic bags, but they totally work for the job of scooping the poo. I’m glad that they actually start decomposing if left out in the elements for a few days.

Sometimes difficult to open the bag. Otherwise, they are thick enough to protect your hands and a good size for a medium sized dog. Probably too small to pick up elephant poop - I’d stick with the shovel for that.
