I am absolutely blown away by this metal detector. I've been taking it to the local beaches for the past month, and it has completely transformed my hobby. My biggest concern was performance in wet, salty sand, which can drive other detectors crazy with false signals. This machine, however, is incredibly stable. It ground balances perfectly and stays quiet until it locks onto a real target. The discrimination is fantastic. I can reliably ignore most of the junk (bottle caps, I'm looking at you) and focus on the good stuff. The tones are clear and distinct, and I'm already getting a feel for what's under the sand before I even dig. It's lightweight enough for me to swing for hours without my arm falling off, and the waterproof coil is a game-changer for searching the surf line where the best targets hide. If you are serious about beach hunting, stop looking and buy this one. You won't regret it!

For years our daughter has wanted a metal detector to use at the beach and farm so this year we surprised her with this one. She was so excited and used it on our beach trip. Easy to put together and loved the carrying bag. Easy to disassemble for storage. There is always a learning curve for new experiences but she has really enjoyed this product!

Product seems well built out of plastic and aluminum mostly aluminum. Easy to use once you get use to all the buttons. Only gave it five stars because it will give a false reding here and there. I scanned over a dime a quarter and a nickel it was suppose to show value of each one but it did jump back and forth between the dime and quarter siots on the finder. Now I am no professional so I could have had the sensitivity to high of a little something else wrong. It has help me find pieces of aluminum candles buried and did say aluminum and some buried nails so overall it works great in my opinion.

Kinda works. I bought it to find a buried water valve riser on our property. It could not locate anything unless it was with within 12”. It did find two nails and a piece of metal in our yard about 3” deep though. I would say if you need something very accurate and that goes deeper, keep shopping.
