I chose the EOCAHO Cup Phone Holder based on the graphics shown by Amazon. This device appeared to offer a higher degree of support over most other similar devices. The most significant feature is the base. This particular base expands in diameter significantly, allowing it to be firmly secured into the cup of my Hyundai Tucson. (It also replaces a Weathertech cup phone mount that had to be modified to fit my cup.) More importantly, the EOCAHO phone holder's components are very substantial providing for much more resistance to physical lateral harmonics when driving. I prefer to have my phone positioned as high as possible. Given the weight of my Google Pixel cell phone, combined with the protective case, a very rigid armature is needed to resist the horizontal sway of the phone when driving; EOCAHO appeared to achieve this which is the number one feature of this device. (This device is inserted within a cup holder. No suction cup is needed which negated that rating. My 4 star rating may increase to 5 stars following my further use of this new phone holder.) ... show more

It doesn't pop out of my cup holder. It fits in my cup holder. It's very easy to setup and (if I wanted to) remove. The phone is VERY secure when placed in the holder. It doesn't rattle or shake (except VERY minimally, which is what you'd expect when you drive over bumps in the road, but just normal driving it holds the phone very steady). It's not in the way of my gear shifter or any other controls. It puts my phone at the perfect height where I can see the directions that I need without needing to look down very far and yet the phone (and holder) do not block my view of the road at all. I truly cannot find anything to complain about it except that it does take up a cup holder so if I had another person in the car with a drink (which is rare, for me) it would be in the way, but (again) even that isn't too much because it is SO easy to take out and put back in! ... show more

This is a great quality product. I am glad I bought it. Every other one I have purchased went in the vents and didn’t stay in there. This one fits in the cupholder and I love it. It stays in place you can use that easily. It’s just awesome. I would highly recommend purchasing this one.

    • Works but flawed
It's functional but the release button is awkwardly placed and needs to pinched in both sides so you need to do a yoga in maneuver just to get the phone out everytime. The release button should be in back so it can be pressed with one finger like other models.
