For anyone that needs to add a little extra warmth to their chicken coop for the extra cold winter days, this is the product for you! It can be mounted in a multitude of ways to make it work with any coop setup and because it is light weight, hanging it is even an option if that works in your coop. This is the method I chose to help avoid chickens trying to perch on it! It is very simple to use with just a few basic buttons on the remote to control differs temperatures, and because it is not open flame or heat, the fire hazard is basically nonexistent. Keep in mind this is not like a space heater that will heat a whole coop, this is more of a radiant heater so proximity to the heater is essential. Overall this is a great product and should keep my chickens warm in the especially frigid nights and days!

This heater works very well and heats up pretty quickly. Its much safer than one of those bulb heaters, especially in a coop. The dust chickens kick up can cause a fire so its worth the peace of mind to get this one. Last thing I want if for my investment to go up in flames! The protected cord is the perfect length to feed out of my coup but I have to use an extension cord since my house is 75ft away. Im going to mount it to the coop wall so the chicken stay warm in the brutal winters we get. And as a bonus, it'll stay free of poop as well

I now only have one chicken and was very concerned for her during the cold fall and winter nights. The coup that I have has thin walls and needed extra heat. I hung the heater up so that it wouldn't be in the way since my coup is small and my chicken is a large one. I love the timer feature which allows me not to have it on while she is in the run and just have it come on at sundown. Once my chicken is no longer with us, I will use the heater on my patio for my cat at night. The overheat protection gives my peace that my pets are protected against fire, and just from overheating the animal. I wish I would have gotten this few years ago.

We already have another brand of coop heater, but this one is much better quality. It feels sturdier and works more consistently. We have ours hooked up to an ambient sensor so it turns off and on with the temperature, and it has kept our chickens comfortable without any fuss. I feel safer with this setup, and it gives me peace of mind on cold nights. It’s also the perfect size that even in a small coop, the chickens can choose to be near it or not. All in all, very happy with it!

I ordered this for my parent’s chicken coop. I thought the flat-panel radiant heater would be significantly safer than a bare heat lamp. It can also be mounted anywhere. It is also energy efficient with 200W which keeps the electric bills down. So far, my dad is very happy with the gift and the chickens will be very cozy and warm this winter.

I tilted this to approximately 45 or more degrees on my countertop. The temperature in my house is currently 65. I placed a thermometer underneath of it. I ran it on the highest temperature for 20 minutes. The thermometer never went above 75 degrees

This is a great alternative to a heating lamp. This is safer because it can’t catch things on fire unless you put it right up against flammable items. But not like a heat lamp that causes fires all the time. We suspended it above my chickens roosting bars and only turn it on if it gets below freezing at night. Love all the setting options.
