I wanted to update my review. The people at FSTAR after reading my review, took it upon themselves to send out a new ATM machine, which arrived at my home on Saturday, just in time for my trip. The toy works beautifully, and I am excited to give the toy to my grandson. Thank you for taking the initiative to send a replacement after reading my review. 5 stars for customer service. I bought this as a gift for my grandson’s 9th birthday, and was very excited about giving it to him. Amazon did a great job delivering it to me on time, with that being said, the toy bank was a huge disappointment! The original box it came in was the flimsiest box I have ever seen, there was no seal on the box, no directions on operation or programming the toy, other than very general directions written on the box. I put coins into the bank, but they never registered in the balance, and the bills, old as well as new never got picked up by the rollers in the bank. The only thing this toy did was make a lot of noise and frustrate me! I am glad I tried to put money into the bank and discovered it was junk before I gave it as a present. Great concept, great idea, but poor quality. Do not, I repeat...DO NOT waste any money or time on this toy. I would hate for a child to be upset because this toy is garbage and breaks on a special day. Really upset and disappointed.

This ATM Bank is so cool. I bought it for my 8 yr old grandson. He didn't have trouble with making his pin, or forgetting it. He already uses a pin on his tablet. It counted everything that went in there, & subtracts what he takes out. It is very much so, just as a big ATM.

Totally served the purpose we wanted it for. My 10 year old was so excited because she’s good at saving money and loves to see how much. Really works exactly how it says it does. We’ve had no problems until our rescue male dog hiked his leg on it. I had her put the bank in my room on the floor when she had friends over, so the temptation to play with it wasn’t there. She did exactly as I asked her to do, and without us realizing it our little boy dog who was an outside dog until he came to live with us, peed on it. I cleaned and dried but still can’t get it totally working the same anymore. She was so devastated because she was so excited to see what she could save up and she knows how much these things cost. Anyway, until that happened, it was great and I would recommend. I think the price is a bit high, but still got it.

I got this for my young teen even though it’s a toy ATM Machine. The reasoning behind it is that she’s too young to have a bank account of her own but she wanted a bank that was better than just a money-in counting bank (which is what she currently was using to save money). The fact that a TARGET amount can be set is great incentive for saving money. The automatic bill insertion roller makes her feel like she’s “adulting” which is also incentive for her to use it. It’s also a working calendar (shows the date, day and time) and alarm clock too! There are some negative things I must comment on: 1) There is no Power On/Off so it’s on all the time, thus draining the batteries; 2) The storage compartment door is on the flimsy side; 3) There is no Volume Sound control - it’s either sound on or sound off...there is no in between. We did come up with a quick fix to somewhat muffle the sound to make it quieter. We took a piece of electrical tape (which is thicker than masking tape, for example) and just covered the speaker where the sounds come from. I showed that in the one photo (the tape we used was green). The only other thing of note is that when putting in lots of bills; one right after the other, the roller mechanism can slow down, even with brand new batteries, and if the bills get bunched up inside the storage space it can hinder the roller from pulling in more bills too. All in all though, my 13-year-old loves it and it’s just what she was looking for! Now if this was purchased strictly as a toy for younger kids, I’m not sure how this would hold up for long periods of playtime, especially that storage door. But for a pre-teen or young teen like mine who wants to save money in a more adult way, this is great!

This is he best ATM piggy bank!!!!! It has all the BELLS & WHISTLES of an actual ATM!! This electronic bank adds with accuracy when dollar bills or coins are added! This electronic bank gives you an actual feel of an ATM. You have to program the date, time, and year! 👍🏼 Plus you are given a code until you change it! It can not be activate unless you use the Personal ATM card and code. It is great buy for adults and children. You can teach your children to save money. Adding money is absolutely the best, the machine sucks in your money like the real thing (it lights up)! Withdrawing money is the best, on the number pad you press how much money you are taking out and it will keep your balance! (Watch my video)!!! I'm buying another one for my adult daughter. Yes we have our banks we walk into but this right here is so much fun especially if you save a little house money for some necessities.. So much fun to have, it now sits nicely on my office file drawer at home. INSTRUCTIONS are Easy Breezy Lemon Squeezy!

Bought this product for my husband for Christmas. He put money in it. It worked 2 times the same day (Christmas). Now it won't work. My husband tried to deposit and it didn't work. So he tried to withdraw and that didn't work. Now we can't get our money out. We hope Amazon will stand behind their product. A Christmas present and exchange it for me...please. Amazon refunded right away. Lesson learned: buying the most expensive on the site. Doesn't mean you get the best built. The next one I buy will be the one that looked exactly the same but at around $25.00 or less. I just bought another one from a different company. It was a little more expensive , but works perfectly. It was worth it.

This item is a waste of money! The reason is simple, it doesn't work. I inserted the coins that work but when I tried the bills it didn't. The withdrawal button and open button doesn't work, so if your money get stuck...get a thin type of lining or card and press open at the same time swipe the card under to open the bank (under 'insert bills here')to get your money. Anyways, it's truly a waste of money, and I never leave comments on my items that I buy. But this was worth 60 something dollars. Probably for some people it worked but for me it didn't so I wouldn't risk it. I just wanted to let you guys know. P.S. make sure you read the reviews and rating to really know how it is.

This is a really neat idea and my son was excited to receive it for his birthday. Aesthetically it does recreate the look of an atm quite well and makes my son a little more invested in the saving process. The atm card is also a nice touch. Despite these positives I think this product is lacking in both quality and functionality. The door where the money is held is really flimsy and doesn’t feel like it would hold up to much rough handling on the part of kids. The machine also lacks a power shut off, meaning it is constantly on, draining the batteries, which seems unnecessary. Also, as a result of being consistently powered, should the buttons get pressed, the account total can be off, necessitating that one take all the money out and start again. A paper money counting mechanism WOULD be a nice feature as well but I didn’t take that into consideration in my review as the machine doesn’t purport to do that. All in all it’s a neat little gadget that would be much more reasonable at half the price point.
