Assembly was minimal and easy. No tools required. Fully charge the batteries before using. First mow on long damp grass and cut through with ease. While not large the grass catcher filled up all the way. No gas, no oil, no air filter, no gummed up carburetor. Rinse the under housing to remove grass. Recently bought a house in April and didn't have a mower so I ordered this not expecting much because it wasn't the most expensive and it's an order from Amazon vs going to a trusted hardware retailer like Home Depot or Lowes. It was easy to put together and works like a charm, every single time. My only gripe is the battery life. I can maybe get my whole backyard and part of the front yard done before I need to recharge the stock batteries that came with it. Other than that, it'll do the job and do it mighty well. Much lighter than my old 48v mower. Doesn't like tall grass but chops it to mulch or compost very nicely if you don't bog it. First charge didn't last but 120 feet of cut but seems to be lasting better now. Easy to adjust height. The bag is on the small side but adequate. I am so happy we chose this electric mower. I like it so much better than any gas mower I've ever used. First, it's much quieter. Also, somehow your pants don't get covered in grass. You come out clean after mowing. There is no smell of gas or oil. It starts instantly every time without having to pull to start. The batteries last a decent amount of time, about as long as my energy does. It mows through thick, wet grass like a champ, though the batteries wear out quicker if the grass is very thick.     • ZERO STARS HORRIBLE PRODUCT BROKE AFTER A MONTH

WORST PRODUCT EVER. HORRIBLE. Greenworks is terrible. Very disappointed. I will never buy a battery lawnmower again and if you want to save yourself a lot of time, money, and hassle, don’t buy this product! I have only had this lawnmower for two months and it stopped working a month in the batteries don’t hold a charge I can’t cut my grass for longer than 15-30 minutes before the battery dies. I can’t even cut a third of my grass before this thing dies and it used to cut my entire yard in 30 minutes and now it takes about three hours. The grass catcher doesn’t even work the grass doesn’t filter through the grass catcher it just dumps back out onto the grass. And yes I have everything set up the way I’m supposed to I read all of the directions everything is accurate correct perfect the way it is supposed to be. I even spent $100 and bought new more powerful batteries and those are worse. And yes, I bought batteries that are compatible with my lawnmower and off of the green works website and I checked the compatibility. They over heat SO badly. This is such a terrible product and I wish I could get my now almost $400 back for all of the green Works items I have bought. I will be sure to use every social platform within my capabilities to let everyone know how terrible this product is. I feel robbed. HORRIBLE!!! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Kept stopping over and over towards end of charge. Small yard but hilly. Hard to turn. Easy assembly and easy start. Did about half of a 120x40 ft area on one charge. Buy an extra two batteries and charger if you have a medium sized yard. Definitely less power than my small gas powered mower. Still convenient- no gas’s and push start. I am disappointed a bit.
