Nice little saw with a lot of power. However, it is what it is. This is an imported DeWalt imitation. Do not expect to get a made in USA tool. It does have a nice feature of integral oiler that many of these do not have. This will extend blade life and allow for smother operation. I have used mine a few times with good results. The plastic safety guard is junk as the thumb screw continually needs to be tightened while using. The safety strap may or may not be useful, as I think it is just one more thing to get in the way, but if you are hanging from a ladder and need to free up a hand, I guess you could use it to hang the saw onto something. Batteries charged up pretty quickly and last for a while. It uses the regular Harbor Freight import design for imported batteries, which isn't really a bad thing, but is what's expected at this price. The batteries are designed to look like DeWalt 20V, but they are not. My loving wife heard me say how impressed I was with its operation that she went out and bought me a second one to bring to the camp. Gotta love her. So now I have two of these. I have to say, for a hundred bucks, it is a nice little kit that comes with everything, including a spare chain, and is a lot easier to grab instead of going out and fuel up the 12" Stihl chainsaw. I am satisfied with my purchase and hope these batteries last at least a couple years.

I was skeptical when I bought this little chain saw, now I'm overwhelmed by its power and how long the battery power lasts. This little chain saw is easy to use in one hand. Its oilier works better than other chain saws I've owned. The battery will give you hours of work before you need to change it. Adjusting the chain tension is super easy too. I highly recommend this chain saw to anyone who has a lot of trees and bushes that need trimming. The chain is impressive too, it stays sharp for a long time. I've been cutting mostly hard wood and the chain isn't showing much wear yet. I bought a 6 pack of spare chains too.

For the price range this thing is in, it's pretty amazing. I have 2 of these and use them for land maintenance at multiple renaissance faire camps (where my crew has been granted a camp plot [Sherwood, TRF, FOC]). It's not gonna stand up to a gas operated Stihl, but it's a 10th of the price. Many of the children (8-12) in our group were able to operate these (with adult supervision) with ease. The adults in our group have all had a turn with this little chain saw and a few plan to purchase thier own. Handy for brush clearing, small trees, and firewood shortening. Pros: Light Easy to use Cuts fantastically (for the price range) Cheap replacement chains ($11) Easy to work on (change chain) Battery life of 45 min to an hour of almost continuous use Power indicator light on the battery Safety button to engage trigger Bad font on the blade makes for a fun joke. "I'm dum(b)" Makes your friend with the fancy chainsaw laugh. Cons: Oil WILL leak out of the oil reserve when stored in the case if you do not store the case in such a way that the saw is vertical (standing on the battery). I keep the case separate and just store mine in my truck toolbox upright. (-.5 star) Chain gets loose even when oiled with continuous use (from branch to branch) about every 15th to 20th cut when dealing with 1"-2" branches. (Make sure to carry that Phillip's screwdriver they give you in your pocket) (-.5 star) Saw will shut itself off about 4 seconds into motor running when battery is down to a single bar. (If you're almost through that branch, you can pull the battery off, remount it, and get a few more seconds of run time) Batteries take about 60-75 minutes to fully charge, so prep for break time about every 90 minutes if you're planning to use this all day. Overall I would definitely recommend this to anyone who camps regularly in slightly overgrown areas or needs to clear some light brush, clean up a foot path through the woods, or just get that scavenged firewood the right size for your firepit.

I would highly recommend this product! Cuts great, battery lasts & chain stays sharp for a long time. I had battery issues 2 months after the warranty expired and without hesitation, they sent me 2 brand new batteries for free. I asked to buy a new oil reservoir because I broke off the nipple of my current one, and they said they would send me a new one for free! I was impressed with this product since day 1, and after the GREAT customer service I received, I am even more impressed with it and the company.

My wife loves to work in the yard and I just preferred her not using my chain saws from a safety and weight perspective as they are heavy and can be very dangerous if kickback occurs so you have to be strong enough to handle them correctly. This small hand saw gives her the opportunity to cut small trees along fence lines down with ease and trust me she loves it … On her first use she cut small sapling pines 4” in diameter down that had grown up on a fence line that we were clearing and had the biggest smile on her face and feeling of accomplishment … It was great … The only problems we feel is that the battery recharge rate didn’t keep up with her use, and her hand is small and it was hard for her to keep the run button pushed in while she gripped the handle … Other than that … For small jobs it’s handy and easy to use … especially cutting shrubs back that may have frozen or trimming small branches hanging down in your way. It was a great Christmas gift and she couldn’t wait to use it … 🤣🤣
